Built with passion for Arabic learners

Why I Created Arabook

A personal journey to make Arabic learning accessible, enjoyable, and effective for everyone.

The Problem

In my personal journey to learn Arabic, I found it incredibly difficult to find books with easy-to-read English translations. I would search up words one by one and translate them manually, which took a lot of time and broke my reading flow.

Finding Arabic books with English translations that are easy to read, include harakat (tashkeel), and provide word-for-word meanings is surprisingly difficult. Many existing websites are cluttered with ads, slow to load, and often require clicking on individual words for translation—which disrupts the reading experience and makes it hard to understand sentences in context.

Additionally, keeping track of unfamiliar words is often not an option on these platforms. I wanted a place where I could read books while simultaneously saving unknown words to review later.

So I decided to build it myself.
