وَAndبَصِيرًاbasīran
And (basīran) in a third place,
فِيinمَوْضِعٍa placeثَالِثٍthird,
in a third place,
كُلُّهَاall of itعَلَىuponالِانْسِجَامِthe harmonyالْفِطْرِيِّinnateالْجَمِيلِbeautiful.
all of it upon the beautiful innate harmony.
التِزَامُThe commitment toالرَّوِيِّthe rhyme letterالْوَاحِدِsingleالتِزَامُis a commitment toمَاwhatلَاdoes notيُلْتَزَمُhave to be committed to:
Adhering to a single rhyme is adhering to what is not obligatory:
وَإِذَاAnd ifالْتَزَمَone adheresفِيinمِثْلِlikeهَذِهِtheseالصُّوَرِimages
And if one adheres - in such images -
مُوَافَقَةَto matchingالرَّوِيِّthe rhyme letterفِيinكُلِّeveryبَيْتٍverse,
to matching the rhyme in every verse,
فَإِنَّهُthen itمِنْis fromقَبِيلِthe category ofالتِزَامِcommitting toمَاwhatلَاdoes notيَلْزَمُhave to be required,
then it is from the category of committing to what is not required,
مِثْلَlikeمَاwhatوَرَدَwas mentionedفِيinسُورَةِSurahمَرْيَمَMaryamوَسُورَةِand SurahالْفُرْقَانِAl-Furqan.
like what was mentioned in Surah Maryam and Surah Al-Furqan.
فِيInتَوَافُقِthe agreement ofالْآيَاتِthe versesعَلَىuponحَرْفٍa letterوَاحِدٍsingleلَذَّةٌis a delightوَمُتْعَةٌand pleasure:
In the agreement of verses upon a single letter is delight and pleasure:
كَذَلِكَLikewiseتَوَافُقُthe agreement ofالْآيَاتِthe noble versesالْكَرِيمَةِnobleعَلَىuponحَرْفٍa letterوَاحِدٍsingle,
Likewise, the agreement of the noble verses upon a single letter,
كَحَرْفِlike the letterالْمِيمِMeemمَثَلًا- for example -فِيinسُورَةِSurahالْقِتَالِAl-Qital,
like the letter Meem - for example - in Surah Al-Qital,
وَحَرْفِand the letterالنُّونِNoonفِيinسُورَةِSurahالرَّحْمَنِAr-Rahman,
and the letter Noon in Surah Ar-Rahman,
يُحْدِثُproducesلَذَّةًa delightوَمُتْعَةًand wonderful pleasure.عَجِيبَةًwonderful
produces a wonderful delight and pleasure.
اخْتِلَافُThe difference ofفَوَاصِلِthe endingsآخِرِof the end ofالسُّورِthe surahsعَنْfromأَوَائِلِهَاtheir beginnings:
The difference of the endings of the surahs from their beginnings:
وَأَحْيَانًاAnd sometimesتَخْتَلِفُdifferفَوَاصِلُthe endingsآخِرِof the end ofالسُّورِthe surahs
And sometimes the endings of the surahs differ -
نَظَرًاin view ofإِلَىtheذِهْنِmind ofالسَّامِعِthe listener,
in view of the listener's mind,
وَتَنْشِيطًاand as an activationلَهُfor him,وَإِشْعَارًاand making him awareلَهُof it
and as an activation for him, and making him aware
بِلُطْفِof the subtlety ofالْكَلَامِthe speechوَرَوْعَتِهِand its splendor -
of the subtlety of the speech and its splendor -
عَنْfromفَوَاصِلِthe endings ofأَوَّلِهَاtheir beginning,مِثْلَlike:
from the endings of their beginning, like:
- Iddan and Haddan in the end of Surah Maryam.
- And like Salaman and Kiraman in the end of Surah Al-Furqan.
- And like Tine, Sajideen, and Tandhoroon in the end of
