وَجَاءَتْ
And cameبَعْضُ
someالسُّوَرِ
of the surahsالْأُخْرَى
otherAnd some other surahs came
عَلَى
uponطَرِيقِ
the methodرَسَائِلِ
of the lettersالْعَرَبِ
of the Arabsin the manner of the letters of the Arabs
مِنْ
withoutدُونِ
regardingمُرَاعَاةِ
observingشَيْءٍ
anythingآخَرَ،
else,without observing anything else,
كَأَنَّهَا
as if itمُحَاوَرَةُ
is the dialogue ofالنَّاسِ
peopleبَعْضُهُمْ
some of themبِبَعْضٍ
with othersas if it were the dialogue of people with one another
اللَّهُمَّ
exceptإِلَّا
forالْخَوَاتِمَ
the conclusionsلِلْكَلَامِ
of the speechالَّتِي
whichجَاءَتْ
cameعَلَى
inالنَّمَطِ
the styleالَّذِي
whichتَرَى.
you see.except for the concluding parts of the speech which came in the style that you see.
وَالسِّرُّ
And the secretفِي
inذَلِكَ
thatAnd the secret in that
أَنَّ
is thatأَصْلَ
the originلُغَةِ
of the languageالْعَرَبِ
of the Arabsis that the origin of the Arabic language
يُرَاعَى
is observedفِيهَا
in itالْوَقْفُ
the pauseفِي
atالْمَوْضِعِ
the placeالَّذِي
whereيَنْتَهِي
endsعَلَيْهِ
upon itالنَّفَسُ
the breathمِنَ
fromالْكَلَامِ
the speechobserves the pause at the place where the breath ends in speech
وَيَتَلَاشَى
and fadesالنَّشَاطُ
the energyفِي
inالْامْتِدَادِ
the extensionالصَّوْتِيِّ،
of the voice,and the energy fades in the vocal extension,
وَمِنْ
and fromهُنَا
hereجَاءَتْ
cameالْآيَاتُ
the versesعَلَى
inهَذِهِ
thisالصُّورَةِ.
form.and hence the verses came in this form.
هَذَا
Thisمَا
is whatفَتَحَ
openedاللَّهُ
Allah- تَعَالَى -
- the Most High -عَلَيَّ
to meفِي
inهَذَا
thisالْبَابِ،
chapter,This is what Allah - the Most High - bestowed upon me in this chapter,
وَاللَّهُ
and Allahأَعْلَمُ
knows bestبِالصَّوَابِ.
what is correct.and Allah knows best what is correct.
