وَتَزَوُّجِهِand his marriageهُنَاكَ،there,

And his marriage there,

وَمُشَاهَدَتِهِand his witnessingالنَّارَthe fireعَلَىuponالشَّجَرَةِthe tree

and his witnessing of the fire upon the tree

وَسَمَاعِand hearingالْكَلَامِthe speechمِنْهَا.from it.

and hearing the speech from it.

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyذَبْحِof the slaughteringالْبَقَرَةِ.of the cow.

And the story of the slaughtering of the cow.

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyلِقَاءِof the meetingمُوسَىof MosesمَعَwithالْخِضْرِAl-Khidr- عَلَيْهِمَا- upon both of themالسَّلَامُ -.be peace -.

And the story of the meeting of Moses with Al-Khidr - peace be upon them both -.

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyطَالُوتَof Saulوَجَالُوتَ.and Goliath.

And the story of Saul and Goliath.

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyبِلْقِيسَof Bilqis(مَلِكَةِ(Queenسَبَإٍ)of Sheba)

And the story of Bilqis (Queen of Sheba).

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyذِيof Dhul-الْقَرْنَيْنِ.Qarnayn.

And the story of Dhul-Qarnayn.

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyأَصْحَابِof the companionsالْكَهْفِ.of the Cave.

And the story of the Companions of the Cave.

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyالرَّجُلَيْنِof the two menالْمُتَحَاوِرَيْنِconversing

And the story of the two conversing men

(أَحَدُهُمَا(one of themيَعْتَزُّboastsبِمَاin whatلَهُhe hasمِنْofمَالٍwealthوَبَنِينَand childrenوَجَنَّاتٍand gardensمِنْofأَعْنَابٍ،grapes,

(one of them boasts of what he has of wealth, children, and gardens of grapes,

وَالْآخَرُand the otherقَلِيلُhas littleالْمَالِwealthوَلَكِنَّهُbut heيُذْكِرُهُreminds himبِاللَّهِof Allah- تَعَالَى -- Most High -وَنِعْمَتِهِand His favorوَشُكْرِهِand gratitude to Himوَالْآخِرَةِ).and the Hereafter).

and the other has little wealth but he reminds him of Allah - the Most High - His favor, gratitude, and the Hereafter).

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyأَصْحَابِof the ownersالْجَنَّةِof the garden

And the story of the owners of the garden

(الَّذِينَ(whoأَرَادُواwantedأَنْtoيَحْرِمُواdepriveالْفُقَرَاءَthe poorالْمَسَاكِينَand the needyمِنْofعَطَايَاهُمْtheir sharesوَصَدَقَاتِand the charityأَمْوَالِهِمْ،of their wealth,

(who wanted to deprive the poor and needy of their shares and the charity of their wealth,

فَرَجَعُواso they returnedمَحْرُومِينَdeprivedوَالْجَنَّةُwhile the garden wasخَاوِيَةٌruinedعَلَىuponعُرُوشِهَا)its trellises)

so they returned deprived while the garden was ruined upon its trellises)

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyالرُّسُلِof the messengersالثَّلَاثَةِthree

And the story of the three messengers

الَّذِينَwhomبَعَثَهُمْsentسَيِّدُنَاour masterعِيسَىJesus- عَلَيْهِ- upon himالسَّلَامُ -be peace -لِدَعْوَتِهِ،to his call,

whom our master Jesus - peace be upon him - sent to his call,

وَاعْتَدَىand transgressedعَلَيْهِمُagainst themالْكُفَّارُthe disbelieversوَقَتَلُوهُمْ.and killed them.

and the disbelievers transgressed against them and killed them.

وَقِصَّةِAnd the storyأَصْحَابِof the companionsالْفِيلِ،of the Elephant,

And the story of the Companions of the Elephant,
