And its rulings, and you observed the customs of the Arabs, their traditions, and their customs.

And the legislations of the Seal Messenger -may God bless him and grant him peace- which are in the status of a reformer and refiner for it.

You perceive for every ruling of its rulings a reason from the reasons.

And you reach in every command and prohibition from its commands and prohibitions to a regarded interest from the interests.

And the detailing of that is lengthy.

The role of Islamic legislations in reforming the distorted upright creed:

And in general, the acts of worship from purification, prayer, fasting, zakat, hajj, and remembrances had been exposed to neglect and great laxity in performing them and standing by them,

and due to the difference of the people -due to the ignorance of most of them of it and their heedlessness- in its legality,

and the seepage of pre-Islamic distortions into it.

So the great Quran descended and eliminated this chaos and disorder,

and established its crookedness, straightened it, and leveled it.

And social and familial life in it had much of unjust traditions, oppressive rituals, and factors of transgression and hostility.

And thus was the matter of governance and politics from disorder, turmoil, and chaos.

So the great Quran regulated the principles of these matters,

and defined limits for it and legislated special legislations for it.

And indeed many of the major and minor sins were tracing back to this origin and relating to this chapter.
