قِيلَ:It was said:مَنْسُوخَةٌ،abrogated,وَقِيلَ:and it was said:لَاnoوَلَكِنْbutتَهَاوَنَpeople became laxالنَّاسُpeopleفِيinالْعَمَلِactingبِهَا.upon it.
It was said: It is abrogated. And it was said: No, but people became lax in acting upon it.
قُلْتُ:I say:قَالَsaidابْنُIbnعَبَّاسٍAbbas- رَضِيَ- may Allah be pleasedاللَّهُwith himعَنْهُ -: -هِيَit isمُحْكَمَةٌ،decisive (firm),وَالْأَمْرُand the commandلِلِاسْتِحْبَابِ،is for recommendation,وَهَذَاand thisأَظْهَرُ.is more apparent.
I say: Ibn Abbas - may Allah be pleased with him - said: It is decisive, and the command is for recommendation, and this is more apparent.
١٠10- آيَةُ- The verseالتَّعْزِيرِof disciplinary punishmentلِمُرْتَكِبَاتِfor female committersالْفَوَاحِشِ:of immoralities:
10 - The verse of disciplinary punishment for female committers of immoralities:
وَقَوْلُهُAnd His statement- تَعَالَى -:- Exalted is He -:{وَاللَّاتِي{And those whoيَأْتِينَcommitالْفَاحِشَةَimmoralityمِنْfromنِسَائِكُمْ}your women}الْآيَةُ.the verse.مَنْسُوخَةٌIt is abrogatedبِآيَةِby the verseالنُّورِ.of An-Nur.
And His statement - Exalted is He -: {And those who commit immorality from your women} the verse. It is abrogated by the verse of An-Nur.
قُلْتُ:I say:لَاnoنَسْخَabrogationفِيinذَلِكَ.that.بَلْRather,هُوَitمُمْتَدٌّextendsإِلَىtoالْغَايَةِthe limit
I say: There is no abrogation in that. Rather, it extends to the limit.
فَلَمَّاSo whenجَاءَتِcameالْغَايَةُ،the limit,بَيَّنَclarifiedالنَّبِيُّthe Prophet- صَلَّى- may Allah blessاللَّهُHimعَلَيْهِand grant Himوَسَلَّمَ -peace -أَنَّthatالسَّبِيلَthe pathالْمَوْعُودَpromisedكَذَاis thusوَكَذَا،and thus,فَلَاso there is noنَسْخَ.abrogation.
So when the limit came, the Prophet - may Allah bless him and grant him peace - clarified that the promised path is thus and thus, so there is no abrogation.
١١11- وَمِنَ- And fromالْمَائِدَةِ:Al-Ma'idah:آيَةُthe verseالنَّهْيِof prohibitionعَنْofإِحْلَالِmaking lawfulالشَّهْرِthe sacredالْحَرَامِ:month:
11 - And from Al-Ma'idah: The verse prohibiting the making lawful of the sacred month:
قَوْلُهُHis statement- تَعَالَى -:- Exalted is He -:{وَلَا{And notالشَّهْرَthe sacredالْحَرَامَ}month}إِلْخِetc.مَنْسُوخَةٌabrogatedبِإِبَاحَةِby the permissibilityالْقِتَالِof fightingفِيهِ.in it.
His statement - Exalted is He -: {And not the sacred month} etc. is abrogated by the permissibility of fighting in it.
قُلْتُ:I say:لَاWe do notنَجِدُfindفِيinالْقُرْآنِthe Quranنَاسِخاًan abrogatorلَهُfor itوَلَاnorفِيinالسُّنَّةِthe Sunnahالصَّحِيحَةِauthentic
I say: We do not find an abrogator for it in the Quran, nor in the authentic Sunnah.
وَلَكِنَّHowever,الْمَعْنَى:the meaning is:أَنَّthatالْقِتَالَfightingالْمُحَرَّمَprohibitedيَكُونُisفِيinالشَّهْرِthe sacredالْحَرَامِmonthأَشَدَّmore severeتَغْلِيطاًin sinfulness
However, the meaning is: that prohibited fighting in the sacred month is more severe in sinfulness.
كَمَاAsقَالَsaidالنَّبِيُّthe Prophet- صَلَّى- may Allah blessاللَّهُHimعَلَيْهِand grant Himوَسَلَّمَ -peace -فِيinالْخُطْبَةِ،the sermon,"دِمَاءَكُمْ"your bloodوَأَمْوَالَكُمْand your wealthحَرَامٌare sacredعَلَيْكُمْupon youكَحُرْمَةِlike the sanctityيَوْمِكُمْof this day of yoursهَذَاthisفِيinشَهْرِكُمْthis month of yoursهَذَاthisفِيinبَلَدِكُمْthis land of yoursهَذَا".this".
As the Prophet - may Allah bless him and grant him peace - said in the sermon, "Your blood and your wealth are sacred upon you like the sanctity of this day of yours in this month of yours in this land of yours".
