She slipped between clover and boxer, which made her meow with satisfaction, and from the wise old man's speech, she did not hear a single word.

All the animals are now in the appointment except Moses, who is a domesticated crow that sleeps on a perch near the back door - he looks at them calmly and attentively. The old man Major then cleared his throat and began with these words:

O companions, you have heard before about the strange dream that I saw in the last night, but I will return to it after a little. There is something else I want to talk to you about; I do not intend, O companions, to spend another few months among you.

I had, in the calmness of the pigpen, an empty time for contemplation. I believe that I am at the level of acknowledging it: I own a lot of light about the nature of life in this world, like me in that like any other animal.

To look at things without fear, we live a life of toil, a life of misery, a life that is very short. As soon as we come to the world, they feed us with what we satiate our hunger, and whom among us has the desired power is forced to work until he delivers the soul, and in the moment that we become useless in it, they slaughter us brutally and excessively.
