هُنَاكَThere isمَصَالِحُinterestsمُشْتَرَكَةٌcommonتَجْمَعُgatherبَيْنَbetweenالْإِنْسَانِhumanوَالْحَيَوَانِand animalهَلْDoتُصَدِّقُونَyou really believeفِعْلًاreallyأَنَّthatنَجَاحَthe successأَحَدُهُمَاone of themمَرْهُونٌdependentبِنَجَاحِon the successالْآخَرِ؟the other?
There are common interests that bring together humans and animals. Do you really believe that the success of one is dependent on the success of the other?

الْكِلَابُThe dogsرَآهُمْ،saw them;لَمdid notيَجِدْfindالْجَرَذَانَthe ratsالْأَمَانَsafetyإِلَّاexceptفِيinالْعَوْدَةِreturningبِسُرْعَةٍquicklyإِلَىtoرِفَاقِنَا؟»our comrades?"
The dogs saw them; the rats did not find safety except in returning quickly to our comrades?"
الْجُحْرُthe burrow.عِنْدَئِذٍThenرَفَعَraisedالْعَجُوزُthe oldمِيْجَرَMajorرِجْلَهُhis legلِطَلَبِto ask forالصَّمْتِ.silence.
Then the old Major raised his leg to ask for silence.
أَيُّهَاOالرِّفَاقُcomrades,قَالَhe saidهُنَاكَthere isسُؤَالٌa questionيَنْبَغِيthat shouldأَنْtoنُجِيبَwe answerعَنْهُ.about it.
"O comrades," he said, "there is a question that we should answer about it."
