هَذِهِthisاللَّحْظَةُ،moment,أَطْلَقَreleasedسْنُوبُولَSnowballصَرْخَةٌa cryحَادَّةٌ،sharp,إِشَارَةٌsignalإِلَىtoالِانْسِحَابِretreatفَعَادَتِso theالْحَيَوَانَاتُanimalsأَدْرَاجَهَا،returned,وَهَرَبَتْand fledمِنْfromالْبَوَّابَةِthe gateالْكُبْرَىٰthe bigنَحْوَtowardsالسَّاحَةِthe yardأَطْلَقَreleasedالرِّجَالُthe menصَيْحَاتِshoutsالنَّصْرِ،of victory,ظَنًّاthinkingمِنْهُمْthat theyأَنْthatالْعَدُوَّthe enemyقَدْhadفَرَّfledهَارِبًا،running away,فَانْدَفَعُواthen they rushedخَلْفَهُbehind himمِنْwithoutدُونَwithoutنِظَامٍ.order.
At that moment, Snowball let out a sharp cry, a signal for retreat and the animals returned, fleeing from the big gate towards the yard.
كَانَwasذَٰلِكَthatهُوَwasهَدَفًthe goal«سْنُوبُول»'Snowball'.
That was the goal of 'Snowball'.
فَمَاSo whenأَنْthatتَقَدَّمَthe men advancedالرِّجَالُthe menوَسَطَin the middle ofالسَّاحَةِ،the yard,حَتَّىuntilانْدَفَعَتْthree horses,مِنْfromخَلْفِهِمbehind themالْخَيْلُthe horsesالثَّلاثَةُthreeوَandالْأَبْقَارُcows,وَاحِدٌand oneمِنْofأَضْخَمِthe biggestالْخُنَازِيرِ،pigs,فَبَقُواthey stayedإِلَىuntilذَٰلِكَthatالْحِينِmomentوَسَطَin the middle ofالْكَمِينِthe ambushدَاخِلَinsideالإِسْطَبْلِthe stableانْتَبَهَthe men noticedالرِّجَالُthe menوَهُمْas they wereمُنْدَهِشُونَastonishedأَنْthatطَرِيقَthe roadالتَّرَاجُعِof retreatقَدْhadقُطِعَتْcut offعَلَيْهِمfor themعِنْدَئِذٍthenأَعْطَىSnowball gaveإِشَارَةًsignalلِلْهُجُومِ،the attack,مُنْطَلِقًاrushingبِنَفْسِهِhimselfنَحْوَtowardsجونزَJonesالَّذِيwhoبَادَرَattacked,بِالْهُجُومِ،to attack,فَرَفَعَhe raisedسِلَاحَهُhis weaponوَأَطْلَقَand firedرَصَاصَةًa bulletاسْتَقَرَّتْsettledرَصَاصَةًa bulletفِيinظَهْرِthe back«سْنُوبُول»of 'Snowball'.فَآدَمَتْSo he was injured,فِيْمَاwhileأَصَابَتْhitرَصَاصَةًa bulletأُخْرَىanotherأَحَدَone of theالْخِرَافِsheepفَأَرْدَتْهُand killed it.
So when the men advanced into the yard, three horses and the cows and one of the biggest pigs rushed behind them, they stayed until that moment in the ambush inside the stable the men noticed as they were astonished that the road of retreat had been cut off then Snowball signaled the attack, rushing himself towards Jones who initiated the attack, raised his weapon and shot, a bullet settled in the back of ‘Snowball’ injuring him, while another bullet hit one of the sheep killing it.
وَمِنْAnd withoutدُونَwithoutتَرَدُّدٍhesitationأَلقىthrewسْنُوبُولَSnowballبِكُلِّwith allثِقْلِهِhis weight(يَزِنُ(weighs120120كِيلُوغْرَامً)kg)عَلَىonرِجْلَيِthe legsصَاحِبِof the ownerالْمَزْرَعَةِthe farmالْمَخْلُوعِdeposed,فَأَسْقَطَhe droppedبُنْدُقِيَّتَهُhis gunمِنْfromيَدِهِhis handوَتَدَحْرَجَتْand rolledفَوْقَoverكُومَةٍa pileمِنْofالْرُّوطِthe dung.
And without hesitation, Snowball threw all his weight (weighing 120 kg) on the legs of the deposed owner of the farm, knocking the gun from his hand and rolling it over a pile of dung.
لَكِنَButالْأَكْثَرُthe mostشِرَاسَةً،ferocity,كَانَwasهُوَitبُوكْسَرَ»'Boxer'الَّذِيwhoقَفَزَjumpedعَلَىuponقَائِمَتَيْهِhis hind legsالْخَلْفِيَتَيْنِthe rearوَضَرَبَand struckبِحَدِيدِwith the ironحَافَرَيْهِhoovesالثَّقِيلَيْنِheavyبِقُوَّةٍwith the forceحِصَانٍof a young horseيَافِعٍyoungالضَّرْبَةُThe blowالأُولَىٰthe firstكَانَتْwasعَلَىonرَأْسِthe headسَائِسٍof the groom«فُوكْسْوُود»،'Foxwood',فَأَسْقَطَتْهُso he dropped itفِيintoالْوَحَلِ،the mud,جُثَّةًa corpseهَامِدَةٌ.lifeless.
But the most ferocious was 'Boxer' who jumped on his hind legs and struck with the iron of his heavy hooves with the force of a young horse, the first blow was on the head of the groom of 'Foxwood', so he dropped into the mud, a lifeless corpse.
وَعِنْدَمَاAnd whenرَأَىhe sawالرِّجَالَthe menذَٰلِكَthatتَرَكُواthey leftهَرَوَاتِهِمtheir clubsوَحَاوَلُواand triedالْفِرَارَ.to flee.
And when the men saw that, they left their clubs and tried to flee.
إِنَّهُIt'sالْخَوْفُfearوَقَدْand it hasتَمَلَّكَtaken holdمِنْofالْعَدُوِّ.the enemy.
It's fear and it has taken hold of the enemy.
طَارَدَتْهُمThey chased them,الْحَيَوَانَاتُ،the animals,وَحَاصَرَتْهُمْand surrounded themفِيinالسَّاحَةِthe yardضَرَبَهُمْthey struck themبِالْحَوَافِرِ،with their hooves,وَنَطَحَتْهُمْand gored themبِالْقُرُونِ،with their horns,أَسْقَطَتْهُمْthey knocked themإِلَىtoالْأَرْضِthe groundوَدَاسُواand trampledبِهُمْ بِالْأَرْجُلِ.them with their feet.
The animals chased them, and surrounded them in the yard, striking them with their hooves, goring them with their horns, knocking them to the ground and trampling them with their feet.
