ٱلنَّكْبَةُThe catastrophe

The catastrophe.

أَمَّاAs forٱلثَّانِيthe secondفَيَرَىhe seesأَنَّthatٱلثَّوْرَاتِthe revolutionsفِيinٱلْمَزَارِعِthe farmsٱلْأُخْرَىthe otherلَهَاhaveأَثَرٌan effect

As for the second, he sees that the revolutions in the other farms have an effect.

سَتَشْغَلُwill occupyٱلْعَدُوُّthe enemyعَنْfromأَيِّanyمُحَاوَلَةٍattemptلِإِعَادَةِto restoreٱلْهُجُومِthe attack

It will occupy the enemy from any attempt to restore the attack.

كَانَتْThey wereٱلْحَيَوَانَاتُthe animalsتَنْصَتُlisteningإِلَىtoنَابُولِيُونَNapoleonثُمَّthenإِلَىto«سْنُوبُول»‘Snowball’,,لَكِنَّهُbut itلَاdoes notتَعْرِفُknowمَنْwhoتُرَجِّحُprevailsعَلَىoverٱلْآخَرِthe other

The animals were listening to Napoleon then to ‘Snowball’, but they do not know who prevails over the other.

وَٱلْحَقِيقَةُAnd the truthأَنَّهَاis that theyكَانَتْwereدَائِمًاalwaysتَقْتَنِعُconvincedبِرَأْيٍwith the opinionآخَرَanotherمُتَحَدِّثٍspeaking

And the truth is that they were always convinced by another speaking opinion.

جَاءَThe day cameٱلْيَوْمَthe dayٱلَّذِيthatانْتَهَتْendedفِيهِin itتَصَامِيمُthe designs«سْنُوبُول»‘Snowball’

The day came that the designs of ‘Snowball’ ended.

وَفِيAnd inٱلْاِجْتِمَاعِthe meetingٱلَّذِيthatانعَقَدَwas heldٱلْأَحَدِon Sundayٱلَّذِيthatتَلاَfollowedذَٰلِكَthatٱلْيَوْمَdayخَضَعَتْwas subjectلِلْتَّصْوِيتِto votingهَلْshould itيَنْبَغِيbeginٱلشُّرُوعَinفِيinبِنَاءِbuildingطَاحُونَةٍa windmillٱلْهَوَاءِthe airأَمْorلَاnot

And in the meeting that was held on the Sunday that followed that day, it was subjected to voting on whether to begin building a windmill or not.

مَاWhatأَنَّthatاجْتَمَعَتْthe animals gatheredٱلْحَيَوَانَاتُthe animalsفِيinٱلْحَظِيرَةِthe barn,,قَامَstood«سْنُوبُول»‘Snowball’,,وَرَغْمَand despiteمُقَاطَعَةٍthe interruptionثُغَاءِbleatingٱلْخِرَافِof the sheepبَيْنَbetweenٱلْحِينِthe whileوَٱلْآخَرِand another,,بِعَرْضِpresentedٱلْأَسْبَابَthe reasonsٱلدَّاعِيَةِcalling forإِلَىtoبِنَاءِbuildingطَاحُونَةٍa windmillٱلْهَوَاءِthe air

What when the animals gathered in the barn, ‘Snowball’ stood up, and despite the interruption of the sheep’s bleating from time to time, presented the reasons calling for building a windmill.

بَعْدَAfterذَٰلِكَthatجَاءَcameدَوْرُthe turnنَابُولِيُونَNapoleon

After that, it was Napoleon's turn.

وَقَالَAnd he saidبِٱلْكَثِيرِwith greatمِنْofٱلْهُدُوءِcalmإِنَّthatطَاحُونَةَthe windmillٱلْهَوَاءِthe airغَبَاوَةٌfoolishness

And he said with great calm that the windmill is foolishness.

وَنَصَحَAnd advisedٱلْحَاضِرِينَthe attendeesبِعَدَمِnot toٱلْتَّصْوِيتِvoteلِصَالِحِin favor ofهَٰذَاthisٱلْمَشْرُوعِproject

And he advised the attendees not to vote in favor of this project.

وَعِنْدَمَاAnd whenأَنْهَىhe finishedحَدِيثَهُhis speech,,جَلَسَhe sat down,,بَعْدَafterخِطَابٍa speechلَمdid notيَدُمْlastثَلَاثِينَthirtyثَانِيَةٍseconds,,غَيْرَnotمُهْتَمٍّinterestedبِٱلْآثَارِin the effectsٱلَّتِيthatأَحْدَثَهَاhe createdٱلْأَمْرُthe matterٱلَّذِيthatٱسْتَغَلَّهُhe exploited«سْنُوبُول»‘Snowball’,,ٱلَّذِيwhoعِنْدَمَاwhenأَسْكَتَsilencedٱلْخِرَافَthe sheepٱلَّتِيthatبَدَأَتْbeganفِيinٱلثُّغَاءِbleating,,انْطَلَقَhe launchedفِيinمُرَافَعَتِهِhis argumentبِحَمَاسٍwith enthusiasmكَبِيرٍgreatمُتَحَدِّثًاspeaking

And when he finished his speech, he sat down, after a speech that did not last thirty seconds, not interested in the effects that the matter created, which ‘Snowball’ exploited, who when he silenced the sheep that began in bleating, he launched his argument with great enthusiasm speaking.

عَنْAboutمَزَايَاthe advantagesطَاحُونَةِof the windmillٱلْهَوَاءِthe air

About the advantages of the windmill.

إِلَىUntilذَٰلِكَthatٱلْحِينِtimeمَازَالَتْstillٱلْمَوَاقِفُthe positionsتَطْفُوfloatمُنفَصِلَةٍdividedإِلَىintoفَرِيقَيْنِtwo teams

Until that time, the positions were still floating divided into two teams.

لَكِنَّButٱلْحَيَوَانَاتُthe animalsفِيinمَا بَعْدَafterغَيَّرَتْchangedرَأْيَهَاtheir opinionبِفَضْلِthanks toبَلَاغَةِthe eloquence«سْنُوبُول»‘Snowball’,,ٱلَّذِيwhoرَسَمَpaintedلَوْحَةًa pictureزَاهِيَةًbrightلِمُسْتَقْبَلِfor the futureمَزْرَعَةِthe farmٱلْحَيَوَانِthe animal

But the animals afterwards changed their opinion thanks to the eloquence of ‘Snowball’ who painted a bright picture for the future of the animal farm.

لَقَدْThe time has comeوَلَّىhas passedزَمَنٌan eraٱلْأَعْمَالِof workٱلْمُنْحَطَّةِdebasedوَٱلذُّلُّand the humiliationتَحْتَunderٱلسُّوطِthe whipسَاعَدَتْhelpedٱلْخَيَالُthe imaginationسْنُوبُولَof ‘Snowball’عَلَىinمَدِيحٍpraisingٱلْكَهْرَبَاءَelectricityٱلَّتِيthatسَتَشْغَلُwill operateلَيْسَnotفَقَطُonlyقِطَاعَاتٍsectors

The time has come that the era of debased work and humiliation under the whip has passed, the imagination of ‘Snowball’ helped in praising the electricity that will operate not only the sectors.
