دَلَالَةٌindicationالتَّضَمُّنِinclusion
Indication of inclusion.
وَدَلَالَةٌAnd the indicationالاِلتِزامِof commitment::دَلَالَتُهُits indicationعَلَىofشَيْءٍsomethingيُفْهَمُis understoodلَاnotمِنْfromلَفْظٍthe wordالاِسْمِthe nameلَكِنْbutمِنْfromلَازِمَةٍits necessary (implication)وَلِهَذَاand for this reasonسَمَّيْنَاهُwe named it::دَلَالَةٌindicationالاِلْتِزامِcommitment
And the indication of commitment: its indication of something that is understood not from the word, but from its necessary implications, and for this reason we named it: indication of commitment.
الْخَلْقِCreation
Creation.
مِثْلَLikeكَلِمَةٍthe wordالْخَالِقِthe Creator::اسْمٌA nameيَدُلُّindicatesعَلَىonذَاتِthe essenceاللَّهِof God,,وَيَدُلُّand indicatesعَلَىonصِفَةٍthe attributeإِذَاIfفَبَاعْتِبَارِBased onدَلَالَتِهِits indicationعَلَىonالأَمْرَيْنِthe two mattersيُسَمَّىis calledدَلَالَةٌindicationمُطَابَقَةٍof correspondence
Like the word 'the Creator': a name that indicates the essence of God and indicates an attribute. If, based on its indication of both, it is called the indication of correspondence, because the word indicates all of its meaning, and there is no doubt that when you say: the Creator; you understand.
خَالِقاًa Creatorوَخَلْقاًand Creation
As a Creator and Creation.
وَبِاعْتِبَارِAnd based onدَلَالَتِهِits indicationعَلَىofالْخَالِقِthe CreatorوَحْدَهُaloneأَوْorعَلَىonالْخَلْقِCreationوَحْدَهُaloneيُسَمَّىis calledدَلَالَةٌindicationتَضَمُّنٌof inclusion;;لِأَنَّهَاbecause itدَلَّتْindicatesعَلَىonبَعْضَsomeمَعْنَاهَاof its meaning.
And based on its indication of the Creator alone or on Creation alone, it is called indication of inclusion; because it indicates some of its meaning.
وَبِاعْتِبَارِAnd based onدَلَالَتِهِits indicationعَلَىofالعِلْمِknowledgeوَالْقُدْرَةِand powerيُسَمَّىis calledدَلَالَةٌindicationالتزامٌof commitment;;إِذْsinceلَاthere can be noيُمْكِنُpossibleخَلْقٌCreationإِلَّاexceptبِعِلْمٍby knowledgeوَقُدْرَةًand power؛;فَدَلَالَتُهُits indicationعَلَىonالْقُدْرَةِthe powerوَالْعِلْمِand knowledgeدَلَالَةٌindicationالتزامٌof commitment.
And based on its indication of knowledge and power, it is called indication of commitment; since there can be no Creation except with knowledge and power; its indication of power and knowledge is indication of commitment.
وَحِينَئِذٍAnd thenيَتَبَيَّنُit becomes clearأَنَّthatالْإِنْسَانَa personإِذَاifأَنْكَرَdeniesواحِدًاoneمِنْfromهَذِهِtheseالدَّلَالَاتِindications؛;فَهُوَhe isمُلْحِدٌan atheistفِيinالأَسْمَاءِthe names.
And then it becomes clear that if a person denies one of these indications; he is an atheist regarding the names.
وَلَوْAnd ifقَالَhe saysأَنَاIأُؤْمِنُbelieveبِدَلَالَةِin the indicationالْخَالِقِof the Creatorعَلَىonالذَّاتِthe essence,,وَلَاand notأُؤْمِنُbelieveبِدَلَالَتِهِin its indicationعَلَىonالصِّفَةِthe attributeفَهُوَhe isمُلْحِدٌan atheistفِيinالْاسْمِthe name.
And if he says: I believe in the indication of the Creator on the essence, but do not believe in its indication on the attribute; he is an atheist regarding the name.
لَوْAnd ifقَالَhe saysأَنَاIأُؤْمِنُbelieveبِأَنَّthat(الْخَالِقِ)(the Creator)تَدُلُّindicatesعَلَىonذَاتِthe essenceاللَّهِof Godوَعَلَىand onصِفَةٍthe attribute
And if he says: I believe that (the Creator) indicates the essence of God and the attribute of creation,
لَكِنَّButلَاnotتَدُلُّindicatesعَلَىonصِفَةِthe attributeالعِلْمِof the knowledgeوَالْقُدْرَةِand the power.
But it does not indicate the attribute of knowledge and power.
قُلْنَاWe said::هَذَاthisإِلْحادٌis an atheismأَيْضًاalso؛;فَلَازِمٌThereforeعَلَيْنَاupon usأَنْtoنُثْبِتَproveكُلَّeverythingمَاthat whichدَلَّ عَلَيْهِit indicatesهَذَاthisالْاسْمُname;؛;
We said: this is atheism also; therefore, we must prove everything that this name indicates;
