aqeedatul wasitiyyah

حِمَارٌdonkey(۱)،وَالصَّفُّand the rowفِيinالصَّلَاةِthe prayerنَظِيرٌis likeالصَّفِّthe rowفِيinالجِهَادِthe jihad،وَكَانَand it wasالرَّسُولُthe Messengerعَلَيْهِpeace be upon himالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُand blessingsيَصِفُهُمْdescribing themفِيinالجِهَادِthe jihadكَمَاasيَصِفُهُمْhe describes themفِيinالصَّلَاةِthe prayerكَأَنَّهُمْas if they areبُنْيَانٌa structure،وَالبُنْيَانُand the structureكَمَاasقَالَhe saidالرَّسُولُthe Messengerعَلَيْهِpeace be upon himالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُand blessings:هُوَitيُشَدُّstrengthensبَعْضُهُsome of itبَعْضًاone another(۲)،يَتَمَاسَكُit holdsبَعْضُهُsome of itبِبَعْضٍwith some،وَلِهَذَاand for thisقَالَhe saidكَأَنَّهُمْas if they areبَنِينَchildrenمَرْضُوضٌpressed tightly together)؛فَلَيْسَit is notكَالْمُفَرَّقِlike the scattered:فَالْمَرْصُوصُthe pressed togetherأَشَدُّmore strongerتَمَاسُكَfirmly hold

صِفَاتٌqualities:فَهَؤُلَاءِThese areالَّذِينَthose whoعُلِّقَتْare attachedمَحَبَّةُloveاللَّهِGodلَهُمْfor themبِأَعْمَالِهِمْby their deedsلَهُمْfor themعِدَّةٌseveralأَوَّلًاFirstly:يُقَاتِلُونَ؛they fight;فَلَاso do notيَرْكُنُونَleanإِلَىtoالْخُلُودِperpetuityوَالخُمُولِand lethargyوَالْكَسَلِand lazinessوَالجُمُودِand stagnationالَّذِيwhichيُضْعِفُweakensالدِّينَthe religionوَالدُّنْيَاand the worldثَانِيًا:Secondly:الإِخْلَاصُ؛sincerity;لِقَوْلِهِ:because of his saying:﴿(فِيinسَبِيلِهِ.His path.ثَالِثًا:Thirdly:يَشُدُّونَholdsبَعْضُهُمْsome of themبَعْضًا؛one another;لِقَوْلِهِdue to his saying:وَصَفَّ.and arranged.رَابِعًا:Fourthly:أَنَّهُمْthat theyكَالبُنْيَانِ،are like the structure,وَالْبُنْيَانُand structureحِصْنٌcastleمَنِيعٌ.stronghold.خَامِسًاFifthلَاdo notيَتَخَلَّلَهُمْintermix themمَاthatيُمَزِّقُهُمْ؛tears them apart;لِقَوْلِهِ:due to his saying:مَّرْصُوصٌ.pressed together.هَذِهِThese areخَمْسٌfiveصِفَاتٌqualitiesعُلِّقَتْare attachedمَحَبَّةُthe loveاللَّهِGodلِهَؤُلَاءِ.for these.عَلَيْهِم.on them.(۱)رَوَاهُreported byالْبُخَارِيُّAl-Bukhari,،(٦۹۱)،وَمُسْلِمٌand Muslim(٤۲۷)؛عَنْfromأَبِيAbuهُرَيْرَةَHurairaرَضِيَmay Allah be pleasedاللَّهُGodعَنْهُ.with him.(۲)لَمَّاwhenرَوَاهُnarratedالْبُخَارِيُّAl-Bukhari(٦۰۲٦)(6026),،وَمُسْلِمٌand Muslim(٢٥۸۵)،عَنfromأَبِيAbuمُوسَىMusaالْأَشْعَرِيِّAl-Ash'ari,رَضِيَmay Allah be pleasedاللَّهُGodعَنْهُwith himعَنْfromالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetﷺpeace be upon himقَالَ:he said:«المُؤْمِنُThe believerلِلْمُؤْمِنِto the believerكَالبُنْيَانِlike the structureيَشُدُّ بَعْضُهُthat strengthensبَعْضًاsome of itبَعْضًا،one another,ثُمَّthenشَبَكَhe intertwinedبَيْنَbetweenأَصَابِعِهِhis fingers.
