إثْبَاتٌProofالْوَجْهُthe face؛;فَهَذَاthis isتَحْرِيفٌdistortionوَغَيْرٌand notمَقْبُولٌacceptable
The proof of the face; this is a distortion and is unacceptable.
وَعَلَيْهِAnd thereforeفَنَقُولُwe say:إلَّاexceptوَجْهَهُHis face؛;أَيْthat is:إلاexceptذَاتِهِHis essenceالْمُتَّصِفَةُcharacterizedبِالْوَجْهِby the face
And therefore we say: except His face; that is, except His essence characterized by the face.
وَهَذاAnd thisلَيْسَis notفِيهِin itشَيْءٌanything؛;لَأَنَّbecauseالْفَرْقُthe differenceبَيْنَbetweenهَذَاthisوَبَيْنَand betweenقَوْلِsayingأَهْلِof the peopleالتَّحْرِيفِof distortionأَنْthatهَؤُلَاءtheseيَقُولُونَsay:إنَّthatالْمُرَادُthe intended meaningبِالْوَجْهِby the faceالذَّاتِthe essenceوَلاand notوَجْهٌa faceلَهُfor it،,وَنَحْنُand weنَقُولُsay:الْمُرَادُthe intendedبِالْوَجْهِby the faceالذَّاتِthe essenceلَأَنَّbecauseلَهُfor itوَجْهًاa face،,فُعْبِرَit is expressedبِهِby itعَنْaboutالذَّاتِthe essence
And this has nothing in it; because the difference between this and the saying of the people of distortion is that these say: the intended meaning by the face is the essence, and there is no face for it, and we say: the intended meaning by the face is the essence because it has a face, thus it is expressed about the essence.

The proof of the two hands for Allah the Exalted: Explanation: you prostrate.

The author, may Allah have mercy on him, mentioned two verses to prove the two hands for Allah the Exalted.
الْآيَةُThe first verseالأُولَىthe firstقَوْلُهُhis sayingمَاWhatمَنَعَكَprevented youأَنْfromتَسْجُدَprostratingلِمَاto whatخَلَقْتُI createdبِيَدَيَّwith My two hands؛;
The first verse: His saying: 'What prevented you from prostrating to what I created with My two hands?'
مَاWhatمَنَعَكَprevented you؛;الْخِطَابُthe addressلِإِبْلِيسَto IblisوَمَاAnd whatاستفهامٌis an interrogativeلِلتَّوْبِيخِfor reproach؛;يَعْنِيthat isأَيْwhichشَيْءٍthingمَنَعَكَprevented youأَنْfromتَسْجُدَprostrate
What prevented you; the address is to Iblis. And what is an interrogative for reproach; that is, which thing prevented you from prostrating?
وَقَوْلُهُAnd His sayingلِمَاto whatخَلَقْتُI createdبِيَدَيَّwith My two hands،,وَلَمand did notيَقُلْsay:لِمَنto whoeverخَلَقْتَI created؛;لِأَنَّbecauseالْمُرَادُthe intendedهُنَاhereآدَمُAdam؛;بِاعْتِبَارِin consideration ofوَصْفِهِhis descriptionالَّذِيwhichلَمdid notيُشْرِكْهُshare with itأَحَدٌanyoneفِيهِin it،,وَهُوَand he isخَلْقُcreationاللَّهِAllahإِيَّاهُhim.
And His saying: 'to what I created with My two hands,' and He did not say: 'to whom I created;' because the intended here is Adam; in consideration of his description which no one shared with him, and it is the creation of Allah of him.
وَلِهَذَاAnd for this reasonلَمَّاwhenأَرَادَhe wantedإِبْلِيسَIblisالنَّيْلَto harmمِنْtoآدَمَAdamوَحَطَّand degradeقَدْرَهُhis status؛;قَالَhe said:أَسْجُدُShall I prostrateلِمَنْto whomخَلَقْتَYou createdطِينًاfrom clay?؛:
And for this reason when Iblis wanted to harm Adam and degrade his status; he said: 'Shall I prostrate to whom You created from clay?'
