يَفْعَلُ؛does;كَالْخَلْقِlike creationهُنَاكَ.here.
He does; like creation here.
الْيَدَيْنِthe two handsاللَّتَيْنِthatبِهُمَاwith themيَقْبِضُholds::﴿(وَمَاAnd whatقَدَرُواthey have measuredاللَّهَAllahحَقَّthe rightقَدْرِهِof His measureوَالْأَرْضُAnd the earthجَمِيعًاall togetherقَبْضَتُهُis in His graspيَوْمَon the dayالْقِيَامَةِof resurrection﴾)
The two hands by which He holds: "And what they have measured Allah with His true measure; and all the earth is in His grasp on the day of resurrection."
وَبِهُمَاand with themيَأْخُذُ،He takes,فَإِنَّfor verilyاللَّهَAllahتَعَالَىthe Exaltedيَأْخُذُtakesالصَّدَقَةَthe charityفَيُرَبِّيَهَاand raises itكَمَاlikeيُرَبِّيraisesالْإِنْسَانَthe humanفَلَوْهُhis pony.
And with them He takes, for verily Allah the Exalted takes the charity and raises it like a human raises his pony.
فَلَوْهُhis pony(۱).(1).

وَقَوْلُهُ:And His saying:﴿(لِمَاfor whatخَلَقْتُI createdبِيَدَيَّwith My hands::فِيهَاin itأَيْضًاalsoتَشْرِيفٌhonorلِآدَمَto Adamعَلَيْهِpeace be upon him;الصَّلَاةُthe prayerوَالسَّلَامُ؛and peace;حَيْثُwhereخَلَقَهُHe created himاللَّهُAllahتَعَالَىthe Exalted.
And His saying: "For what I created with My hands: there is also honor to Adam, peace be upon him; where Allah created him by His hand.
قَالَSaidأَهْلُThe peopleالْعِلْمِof knowledge,وَكَتَبَand wroteاللَّهُAllahالتَّوْرَاةَthe Torahبِيَدِهِ،by His hand,وَغَرَسَand plantedجَنَّةَthe Gardenعَدْنٍof Eden.
The people of knowledge said, and Allah wrote the Torah by His hand, and He planted the Garden of Eden.
فَهَذِهِSo theseثَلاثَةٌthreeأَشْيَاءٌ؛things;كُلَّهَاall of itكَانَتْwasبِيَدِby handاللَّهِof Allahتَعَالَى.the Exalted.
So these are three things; all of them were by Allah's hand, the Exalted.
وَلَعَلَّنَاAnd perhapsبِالْمُنَاسَبَةِin this contextلاdo notنَنْسَىforgetمَاwhatمَرَّhas goneمِنْfromقَوْلِthe sayingالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetعَلَيْهِpeace be upon him:إِنَّVerilyاللَّهَAllahخَلَقَcreatedآدَمَAdamعَلَىonصُورَتِهِhis image.
And perhaps in this context we do not forget what has gone from the saying of the Prophet peace be upon him: Verily Allah created Adam in His image.
وَذَكَرْنَاAnd we mentionedأَنَّthatأَحَدٌone ofالْوَجْهَيْنِthe two facesالصَّحِيحَيْنِof correctnessفِيinتَأْوِيلِهَاits interpretationأَنَّthatاللَّهَAllahخَلَقَcreatedآدَمَAdamعَلَىonالصُّورَةِthe imageالَّتِيthatاخْتَارَهَاHe choseوَاعْتَنَىand took care of it,وَلِهَذَاand for thisأَضَافَهَاHe added itاللَّهُAllahإِلَىtoنَفْسِهِHimselfإِضَافَةًadditionتَشْرِيفًاof honor
And we mentioned that one of the two correct interpretations of it is that Allah created Adam in the image that He chose and took care of, and for this Allah added it to Himself as an honor.
(۱)(1)لِمَاFor whatرَوَىnarratedالْبُخَارِيُّAl-Bukhari(١٤١٠)،(1410),وَمُسْلِمٌand Muslim(١١٤)،(114),عَنْfromأَبِيAbuهُرَيْرَةَHuraira,رَضِيَmay Allah be pleased with him,قَالَ:He said:قَالَHe saidرَسُولُthe Messengerاللَّهِ:of Allah:إِنَّVerilyأَحَدَكُمْone of youيُصَدِّقُgives charityبِالتَّمْرَةِwith a dateمِنْfromطَيِّبٍ،a good quality,وَلَاAnd does notيَقْبَلُacceptاللَّهُAllahإِلَّاexceptطَيِّبًا،good quality,فَيَجْعَلُهَاthen He places itاللَّهُAllahفِيinيَدِهِHis hand,الْيُمنى؛right hand;ثُمَّthenيُرَبِّيَهَاraises itكَمَاlikeيُرَبِّيraisesأَحَدُكُمْone of youفَلَوْهُhis ponyأَوْorفَصِيلَتَهُhis foalحَتَّىuntilتَصِيرَit becomesمِثْلَlikeأَحَدِهِمْ.one of them.
(1) narrated by Al-Bukhari (1410), and Muslim (114), from Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of Allah said: Verily, one of you gives charity with a date from good quality, and Allah does not accept except what is good, then Allah places it in His right hand; then He raises it like one of you raises his pony or foal until it becomes like one of them.
(۲)(2)رَوَىNarratedالْدَّارِمِيُّAl-Daramiفِيinالرَّدِّthe responseعَلَىtoبَشَرٍBasharالْمُرِيسيِّthe Murisi(ص۳۵)،(p. 35),وَالْحَاكِمِand Al-Hakim(۳۱۹/۲)،(319/2),وَالْبَيْهَقِيِّand Al-Bayhaqiفِيinالْأَسْمَاءِthe namesوَالْصِّفَاتِ"and attributes"(ص۴۰۳)،(p 403),عَنْfromابْنِIbnعُمَرَUmarمَوْقُوفًا.stopped.
(2) Narrated by Al-Darami in the response to Bashar the Murisi (p. 35), and Al-Hakim (319/2), and Al-Bayhaqi in the names and attributes (p 403), from Ibn Umar, stopped.
وَصَحَّحَهُAnd declared it authenticالْحَاكِمُ،Al-Hakim,وَلَمْand did notيَتَعَقَّبْهُdebateالذَّهَبِيُّ،Al-Dhahabi,وَهُوَand heكَمَاasقَالَاthey said;وَالْحَدِيثُand the narrationلَهُbelongs to itحُكْمٌis judged
And Al-Hakim declared it authentic, and Al-Dhahabi did not debate this, as they said; and the narration is judged as authentic.
وَانْظُرْ:And look:مُخْتَصَرُthe summaryالْعُلُوِّ"of greatness"(١٠٤)،(104),وَand(حَادِي(the guideالأَرْوَاحِ"of spirits"لِابْنِof Ibnالْقَيِّمِal-Qayyim(٨٤).(84).
And look: "The summary of greatness" (104), and "the guide of spirits" of Ibn al-Qayyim (84).
