Partners in lordship, then; do not make Allah partners in divinity as you acknowledge that He does not have partners in lordship.

وَقَوْلُهُ:And His saying:﴿أَندَادًا"partners":جَمْعٌis a plural ofنَدٍ،partner,وَندٌand a partnerالْشَّيْءَis the thingمَاwhatكَانَwasمُنَادًىcalled(أَيْ:(that is:مُكَافِئًا)equal)لَهُto it.وَمَاAnd whatزَالَremainsالنَّاسُpeopleيَقُولُونَ:say:هَذَاThisنَدٌis a partnerلِهَذَا؛for this;أَيْ:that is:مُقَابِلٌin contrastلَهُto itوَمُكَافِئٌand equalلَهُ .to it.

And His saying: "Partners" is the plural of a partner, and a partner of something is what is equal to it. And people continue to say: This is a partner to this; meaning: it is in contrast to it, and equal to it.

وَقَوْلُهُ:And His saying:﴿وَأَنْتُمْ"And youتَعْلَمُونَ﴾know":الْجُمْلَةُThe sentenceهُنَاhereحالِيًّا،is in the state of,وَصَاحِبُand the possessorالْحَالِof the stateهِيَisالْوَاوُthe letter "wa"فِيinقَوْلِهِHis sayingوَلَاand do notتَجْعَلُوا،make,وَالْمَفْعُولُand the objectمَحْذُوفٌ؛is omitted;يَعْنِي:it means:وَأَنْتُمْand youتَعْلَمُونَknowأَنَّهُthat heلَاis notنَدٌpartnersلَهُ.to Him.

And His saying: "And you know" indicates that the sentence here is in the state of, and the possessor of the state is the letter 'wa' in His phrase "and do not make," and the object is omitted; meaning: and you know that He does not have partners.

الْجُمْلَةُThe sentenceالحَالِيَّةُthe currentهُنَاhereصِفَةٌ،is a description,كَاشِفَةٌrevealingوَالصِّفَةُand the descriptionالْكَاشِفَةُthat revealsكَالتَّعْلِيلِis like the reasonلِلْحُكْمِ؛for the ruling;فَكَأَنَّهُso it is as ifقَالَ:he said:لَاdo notتَجْعَلُواmakeلِلَّهِfor Allah,أَنْدَادًا؛partners;لِأَنَّكُمْbecause youتَعْلَمُونَknowأَنَّهُthat heلَاis notنَدٌ لَه،a partner,فَإِذَا كُنتُمْso if youتَعْلَمُونَknowذَاكَ؛that;فَكَيْفَhowتَجْعَلُونَهُdo you make Himفَتُخَالِفُونَto opposeعِلْمَكُمْ؟!your knowledge?

The current sentence is a description, revealing, and the revealing description is like the reason for the ruling; as though he said: do not make partners for Allah; because you know that He is not a partner. So if you know that; how can you oppose your knowledge?

وَهَذِهِAnd thisأَيْضًاalsoسَلْبِيَّةٌ،is negative,وَذَاكَand thatمِن قَوْلِهِ:from His saying:هُوَit isفَلَاso do notتَجْعَلُواmakeلِلَّهِfor Allah;أَنْدَادًا؛partners;لِأَنَّكُمْbecauseلَاthere is noنَدٌّ لَهpartner for Himلِكَمَالِfor the perfectionصِفَاتِهِ.of His attributes.

And this is also negative, and that comes from His saying: it is so do not make partners for Allah; because there is no partner for Him due to the perfection of His attributes.

الْآيَةُThe verseالرَّابِعَةُ:fourth:قَوْلُهُ:His saying:﴿وَمِنَ النَّاسِ"And among the people"مَن يَتَّخِذُwho takesمِن دُونِ اللَّهِbesides Allahأَنْدَادًاpartnersيُحِبُّونَهُمْwho love themكَحُبِّ اللَّهِ﴾as the love of Allah"[البقرة : ١٦٥].[Al-Baqarah: 165].

The verse fourth: His saying: "And among the people are those who take partners besides Allah, who love them as the love of Allah" [Al-Baqarah: 165].

وَمِنَAnd amongالتَّبَعِيضِيَّةِ،is partitive,وَالْمِيزَانُand the measureلِـfor(مِن)(from)التَّبَعِيضِيَّةِpartitiveأَنْmeans thatيَحِلَّcan takeمَحَلَّهَاits placeبَعْضٌ؛some;يَعْنِي:that is:وَبَعْضٌand someالنَّاسُ.people.* )* )وَمَن يَتَّخِذُAnd whoever takesمِن دُونِ اللَّهِbesides Allahأَنْدَادًا:partners:يَتَّخِذُهُمْmakes themأَنْدَادًا؛partners;يَعْنِي:means:فِيinالْمَحَبَّةِ؛the love;كَمَاasفَسَّرَهُexplained itبِقَوْلِهِ:by saying:﴿يُحِبُّونَهُمْ"They love them"كَحُبِّ اللَّهِ﴾،as the love of Allah,"وَيَجُوزُand it is permissibleأَنْ نَقُولَ:to say:إِنَّthatالْمُرَادَthe intendedبِالْأَنْدَادِby the partnersمَا هُوَwhat isأَعْمُّbroaderمِنْthanالْمَحَبَّةِ؛the love;يَعْنِي:that means:أَنْدَادًاpartners٣٥٤354

And it is partitive, and the measure for it is that ( من ) can take the place of some; meaning: and some people. And whoever takes partners besides Allah: makes them partners; meaning: in the love; as it was explained by saying: "They love them as the love of Allah," and it is permissible to say: that what is intended by partners is broader than love; that means partners.
