قُلْنَاWe said::إِخْبَارٌinformingالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetﷺ(peace be upon him)بِذَٰلِكَwith thatإِقْرَارٌis an acknowledgmentلَهُfor him,,فَتَكُونُso it becomesمِنْfromشَرْعِهِhis legislation,,وَيَكُونُand it isنَسْخًاa abrogationلِمَاfor whatسَبَقَprecededمِنْofحُكْمِthe rulingsالإِسْلَامِof Islamالأَوَّلِthe first
We said: Informing the Prophet ﷺ of that is an acknowledgment for him, so it becomes from his legislation, and it abrogates what had preceded from the ruling of the first Islam.
وَAndالْبَعْثِthe resurrectionبَعْدَafterالْمَوْتِdeath"::الْبَعْثُResurrectionبِمَعْنَىmeansالإِخْرَاجِthe emergence؛;يَعْنِيit means::إِخْرَاجَbringing outالنَّاسَthe peopleمِنْfromقُبُورِهِمtheir gravesبَعْدَafterمَوْتِهِمtheir death
And 'the resurrection after death': Resurrection means bringing people out from their graves after their death.
وَهَذَاAnd thisمِنْis fromمُعْتَقَدِthe beliefأَهْلِof the peopleالسُّنَّةِof the Sunnahوَالْجَمَاعَةِand the community
And this is from the belief of the people of Sunnah and the community.
وَهَذَاAnd thisثَابِتٌis establishedبِالْكِتَابِby the Bookوَالسُّنَّةِand the Sunnahوَإِجْمَاعِand the consensusالْمُسْلِمِينَof the Muslims,,بَلْratherإِجْمَاعُthe consensusالْيَهُودِof the Jewsوَالنَّصَارَىand the Christians؛;حَيْثُwhereيُقِرُّونَthey affirmبِأَنَّthatهُنَاكَthereيَوْمًاa dayيُبْعَثُpeople are resurrectedالنَّاسُthe peopleفِيهِin itوَيُجَازَوْنَand they will be rewarded
And this is established by the Book, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Muslims, rather by the consensus of the Jews and the Christians; where they affirm that there is a day in which the people will be resurrected and rewarded.
أَمَّاAs forالْقُرْآنَthe Qur'an؛;فَيَقُولُit saysاللَّهُAllahعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Almighty::﴿﴾زَعَمَclaimedالَّذِينَthoseكَفَرُواwho disbelievedأَنْthatلَنْthey will notيُبْعَثُواbe resurrectedقُلْSayبَلَىIndeedوَرَتَّيand I sayلَنُبْعَثَwe will resurrect
As for the Qur'an; it says, Allah the Almighty: 'Those who claimed that they will not be resurrected, say: 'Indeed, we will resurrect.'
[التَّغَابُنِ:[Al-Taghabun:٧]7]،,وَقَالَAnd He saidعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Almighty::﴿﴾ثُمَّThenإِنَّكُمْyou allبَعْدَafterذَلِكَthatلَمَسْتُونَwill feel**ثُمَّThenإِنَّكُمْyou allيَوْمَon the day ofالْقِيَامَةِthe Resurrectionتُبْعَثُونَ)you will be resurrected)[المُؤْمِنُونَ:[Al-Mu’minun:١٥-١٦]15-16]
And He the Almighty said: ‘Then indeed you, after that will feel; then indeed you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection.’ [Al-Mu’minun: 15-16]
وَأَمَّاAnd as forفِيinالسُّنَّةِthe Sunnah؛;فَجَاءَتْthere cameالْأَحَادِيثُthe hadithsالْمُتَوَاتِرَةُthe reportedعَنْfromالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetﷺ(peace be upon him)فِيinذَٰلِكَthat..
And as for the Sunnah; there came the reported hadiths from the Prophet ﷺ regarding that.
وَأَجْمَعَAnd the Muslims agreedالْمُسْلِمُونَthe Muslimsعَلَىonهَذَاthisإِجْمَاعًاconsensusقَطْعِيًّاcategorical,,وَأَنْand thatالنَّاسَthe peopleسَيُبْعَثُونَwill be resurrectedيَوْمَon the day ofالْقِيَامَةِthe Resurrection,,وَيَلَاقُونَand they will meetرَبَّهُمْtheir Lord,,وَيُجَازَوْنَand they will be rewardedبِأَعْمَالِهِمfor their deeds;;فَمَنSo whoeverيَعْمَلْdoesمِثْقَالَan atom’s weightذَرَّةٍof goodخَيْرًاis goodnessيَرَىwill see,,وَمَنand whoeverيَعْمَلْdoesمِثْقَالَan atom’s weightذَرَّةٍof evilشَرًّاis evilيَرَاهُwill see itالزَّلْزَلَةُthe Earthquake::٧7--٨]8]
And the Muslims agreed on this with a categorical consensus, that the people will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection, and they will meet their Lord and be rewarded for their deeds; so whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it. [Al-Zalzalah: 7-8]
يَاO mankind!الْإِنْسَانُthe humanإِنَّكَIndeed, youكَادِحٌare strivingإِلَىtowardsرَبِّكَyour Lordكَدْحًاstrivingفَمُلَاقِيهِand you will meet Him.
O mankind! Indeed, you are striving towards your Lord, and you will meet Him.
﴾﴾[الْإِنْشِقَاقِ[Al-Inshiqaq::٦]6]؛;فَتَذَكَّرْSo rememberهَذَاthisالْلِّقَاءَmeeting,,حَتَّىso thatتَعْمَلَyou may work for it;لَهُfor it::خَوْفًاout of fearمِنْofأَنْthatتَقِفَyou standبَيْنَbetweenيَدَيYour handsاللَّهِAllahعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Almightyيَوْمَon the Day ofالْقِيَامَةِthe Resurrectionوَلَيْسَand notعِندَكَwith youشَيْءٌanythingمِنَfromالْعَمَلِthe good deedالصَّالِحِrighteous,,انْظُرْLook
So remember this meeting, so that you may work for it; out of fear that you will stand between the hands of Allah the Almighty on the Day of Resurrection, and you will not have anything of good deeds; look.
