And as for the statement; it is many; like: "Our Lord is Allah who is in the heaven! Glorified is Your Name. Your command is in the heaven and the earth," and His saying in His right: "No and the Turner of hearts (1)."
وَأَمَّاAnd as forالْفِعْلَ؛the action;فَهُوَit isأَقَلُّlessمِنْthanالْقَوْلَ؛the statement;مِثْلَlikeإِشَارَتِهِhis pointingإِلَىtoالسَّمَاءِthe heavenيَشْهَدُbears witnessاللَّهُAllahعَلَىonإِقْرَارِthe acknowledgmentأُمَّتِهِof his nationبِالْبَلَاغِ،with the message,وَهَذَاand thisفِيinحُجَّةِthe Sermonالْوَدَاعِof farewellفِيinعَرَفَةَ،Arafat,خَطَبَHe addressedالنَّاسَ،the people,وَقَالَ:and he said:«أَلَا"Is it notهَلْthat Iبَلَّغْتُ؟».delivered?".قَالُوا:They said:نَعَمٌ.Yes.ثَلَاثَThreeمَرَّاتٍ.times.قَالَ:He said:«اللَّهُمَّ"O Allah,اشْهَدْ»witness"يَرْفَعُHe raisesإِصْبَعَهُhis fingerإِلَىtoالسَّمَاءِ،the heaven,وَيُنَكِّتُهَاand points it to the people.فَرَفَعَSo he raisedإِصْبَعَهُhis fingerإِلَىtoالسَّمَاءِ؛the heaven;هَذَاthisوَصْفٌis a descriptionاللَّهُof Allahتَعَالَىthe Exaltedبِالْعُلُوِّby being highعَنْthroughطَرِيقِthe wayالْفِعْلِ.of the action.
And as for the action; it is less than the statement; like his pointing to the heaven; Allah bears witness to the acknowledgment of His nation with the message, and this is in the Farewell Sermon at Arafat, he addressed the people, and said: "Is it not that I delivered?" They said: Yes. Three times. He said: "O Allah, witness" as he raises his finger to the heaven, and he points it to the people. So he raised his finger to the heaven; this is a description of Allah, the Exalted, by being high through the action.

And a man came to him while he was delivering the sermon to the people on Friday; he said: O Messenger of Allah! Property is destroyed... So he raised his hands (3). And this is also a description of Allah by being high through the action.
