النِّفَاقُHypocrisyالِاعْتِقَادِيُّof beliefلَاis notيُطَلَّعُdiscoveredعَلَيْهِupon itبَعْدَafterالرَّسُولِthe Messenger- صَلَّى- peaceاللَّهُand blessingsعَلَيْهِof Allah be upon him-:-:
Belief-based hypocrisy is not discovered after the Messenger - may Allah bless him and grant him peace -:
وَأَمَّاAs forالنِّفَاقُthe hypocrisyالْأَوَّلُfirst- وَهُوَ- and it isالنِّفَاقُthe hypocrisyالِاعْتِقَادِيُّof belief-,-,
As for the first hypocrisy - which is the hypocrisy of belief -
فَإِنَّهُitلَاis notيُطَلَّعُdiscoveredعَلَيْهِupon itبَعْدَafterسَيِّدِنَاour masterرَسُولِthe Messengerاللَّهِof Allah- صَلَّى- peaceاللَّهُand blessingsعَلَيْهِof Allah be upon him-,-,
it is not discovered after our master the Messenger of Allah - may Allah bless him and grant him peace -,
إِذْsinceأَنَّهُit isمِنَfromالْأُمُورِmattersالْمُغَيَّبَةِ،the unseen,
since it is among the unseen matters,
وَلَاand there is noاطِّلَاعَawarenessلِأَحَدٍfor anyoneعَلَىofمَكْنُونَاتِhidden contentsالْقَلْبِof the heartوَمُغَيَّبَاتِهِ.and its unseen aspects.النِّفَاقُHypocrisyالْعَمَلِيُّof actionكَثِيرُis frequentالْوُقُوعِ:in occurrence:
and no one has awareness of the hidden contents of the heart and its unseen aspects. Practical hypocrisy is frequent in occurrence:
وَأَمَّاAs forالنِّفَاقُthe hypocrisyالثَّانِيsecond- وَهُوَ- and it isالنِّفَاقُthe hypocrisyالْعَمَلِيُّof action-,-,
As for the second hypocrisy - which is the hypocrisy of action -
فَإِنَّهُit isكَثِيرُfrequentالْوُقُوعِin occurrenceلَاnotسِيَّمَاespeciallyفِيinعَصْرِنَاour eraهَذَا،this,
it is frequent in occurrence, especially in this era of ours,
وَإِلَىand toهَذَاthisالنِّفَاقِhypocrisyوَقَعَتِoccurredالْإِشَارَةُthe referenceفِيinالْحَدِيثِthe hadithالشَّرِيفِ،noble,
and reference to this hypocrisy was made in the noble hadith,
الَّذِيwhichجَاءَcameفِيهِ:in it:
in which it came:
"ثَلَاثٌ"Threeمَنْwhoeverكُنَّareفِيهِin himكَانَhe isمُنَافِقاًa hypocriteخَالِصاً:pure:
"Three things, whoever has them is a pure hypocrite:
إِذَاwhenحَدَّثَhe speaksكَذَبَ،he lies,
when he speaks, he lies,
وَإِذَاand whenوَعَدَhe promisesأَخْلَفَ،he breaks his promise,
and when he promises, he breaks his promise,
وَإِذَاand whenخَاصَمَhe disputesفَجَرَ"و"هَمُّhe transgresses" and "The concern ofالْمُنَافِقِthe hypocriteبَطْنُهُis his bellyوَهَمُّand the concern ofالْمُؤْمِنِthe believerفَرَسُهُ"is his horse"إِلَىtoغَيْرِotherذَلِكَthan thatمِنَfromالْأَحَادِيثِ.the hadiths.كَشْفُThe uncoveringالْقُرْآنِof the Quranعَنْofأَحْوَالِconditionsالْمُنَافِقِينَ:of the hypocrites:
and when he disputes, he transgresses" and "The concern of the hypocrite is his belly and the concern of the believer is his horse" alongside other hadiths. The uncovering of the Quran of the conditions of the hypocrites:
وَقَدْAnd indeedكَشَفَuncoveredاللَّهُAllah- تَعَالَى- exalted-و- andفِيinالْقُرْآنِthe Quranالْحَكِيمِthe Wiseعَنْaboutأَعْمَالِdeedsهَؤُلَاءِof theseالْمُنَافِقِينَhypocritesوَأَخْلَاقِهِمْ،and their morals,
And Allah - the Exalted - has uncovered in the Wise Quran the deeds of these hypocrites and their morals,
وَبَيَّنَهَاand explained themأَتَمَّfullestبَيَانٍ،explanation,
and explained them with the fullest explanation,
وَأَكْثَرَand increasedمِنْfromذِكْرِmentioningأَحْوَالِconditionsالطَّائِفَتَيْنِof the two groupsمِنَofالْمُنَافِقِينَthe hypocritesحَتَّىso thatتَكُونَmay beالْأُمَّةُthe nationعَلَىuponحَذَرٍcautionمِنْهَاfrom themوَتَجْتَنِبَهَاand avoid themكُلَّeveryالْاجْتَنَابِ.avoidance.
and mentioned the conditions of the two groups of hypocrites frequently so that the nation may be upon caution from them and avoid them completely.
