He said: Ali said: A time will come upon the people when nothing will remain of Islam except its name, and nothing will remain of the Quran except its form.

Their mosques at that time are flourishing, but they are ruins of guidance.

Their scholars are worse than those under the sky; from them emerged the sedition, and in them it returns.

And it was mentioned from the narration of Samak ibn Harb, from Abdul Rahman ibn... and Al-Bayhaqi in the folklore (1764).

I said: Perhaps the disturbance in his ascription and interruption is from Abdullah ibn Dakin the Kufi.

So, with the authentication of Ahmad and Ibn Ma'in - in one narration - his weakness has been agreed upon by others until Abu Hatim al-Razi said: 'The Hadith is strange and weak; he narrated from Ja'far ibn Muhammad other than strange narrations.'

And some of it has been narrated from another source by Ali at Al-Bayhaqi in the folklore (1765), but it does not establish, for Al-Bayhaqi said: 'This is an interrupted narration, its chain of transmission to Shariq is unknown.'
