And perhaps the deceived one was deceived and said: Indeed, what carries me to sins is the good hope and my desire for His pardon, not the weakness of His greatness in my heart.

(2) And this is from the deception of the self, for indeed the greatness of Allah and His majesty in the heart of the servant and the reverence of His sanctities prevent him from sins.

So the daredevils on His sins do not appreciate Him truly, and how can they appreciate Him as He deserves, or magnify Him and exalt Him while they take lightly His command and prohibitions?

And sufficient for the sinner is the punishment that he diminishes from his heart the reverence of Allah, may He be glorified, and the reverence of His sanctities; and he takes lightly His right. And from some of the punishment of this is that Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, raises His awe from the hearts of creation, and He takes lightly on them, and they scorn Him; as He took lightly His command, and scorned Him. So according to the measure of the love of the servant of Allah, he is loved by people.
