The complete blessings upon the master of the righteous and the best of the good, Muhammad the Chosen, and upon his family and companions, and peace, abundant and always.
وَهَذِهِand thisأَقْدَمُis the oldestالنُّسَخِcopiesالمَعْرُوفَةِknownلِكِتَابِof the bookالدَّاءِthe diseaseوَالْدَّوَاءِand the medicine
And this is the oldest known copies of the book of the disease and the medicine.

He was asked, 'The Sheikh of Islam, Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Abu Bakr the Damascene, may God envelop him with His mercy and grant him residence in His paradise,' said the questioner.

And it is a strange beginning, for indeed the author, may God have mercy on him, is known by the nickname Abu Abdullah, and he is Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, and he is also a damascene; but what he is famous for is 'Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Abu Bakr al-Qayyim.'
