Allah, in His Book, said: "He will not speak to them nor look at them."

And the speech of Allah and His gaze is one, meaning it is not created.

And Abu Hamed narrated to us that Salah bin Ahmed bin Jacob said: I heard my father saying: Abu Muqatil was asked, while I was present, about the creation of the Quran, and he said: The Quran is the speech of Allah, not created.

So his son Salim said to him: "O father, did you select about Abu Hanifa anything regarding this?" So he said: "Yes, Abu Hanifa was on this, as far as I knew nothing other than this from him, and if I had known any other than this, I would not have accompanied him."

I said that all this is a refutation of what some narrators attributed to Abu Hanifa and Muhammad bin al-Hasan regarding the statement of the creation of the Quran.

And all that has been narrated from Abu Hanifa about this should be understood as him saying that our recitation of the Quran and our writing for it are created, as he informed in the greater jurisprudence.

Some of the people understood from his speech that the origin of the Quran, which is an attribute of the Most High Allah, is created in his view, or some stressed him and prevented him from this word as a blockage to the door. And so it was with Muhammad, as some reinforced their positions against al-Bukhari in his saying: 'My words with the Quran are created.'

This is what was written on this virtuous position at the mosque by the unique narrator, the scholar and knowledgeable Mawlawi Hasan al-Zaman Muhammad al-Haidar Abadi. May Allah continue His blessings upon him. And whoever wants expansion, let him look at the addition of this book, which I authored and published independently for the discourse on the narrations of this chapter.

And just in elevation of the status of the supreme Imam, what Allah endowed upon him from a high degree in ijtihad, until he said: "The people in jurisprudence are dependent on Abu Hanifa."

And indeed, many praise were offered upon him by the Imam of previous narrators, Abd Allah bin Al-Mubarak and his companions, as it is widely stated in books until in the works of the Shafi'i scholars such as al-Tahdhib al-Kamal for al-Mizzi and al-Tadhhib wa Tadhkirah for al-Dhahabi and al-Tahdhib of Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani and others.

So do not let these weak and feeble narrations deceive you after the established opposition from the authentic narrations that were narrated by al-Hafiz al-Bayhaqi, with his being opposed to the Hanafis, for the consideration should be for the valid majority, and Allah knows best.
