عَالِيَexalted::أَعْرِضْpresentأُمَّتَكَyour nationلِحِسَابِهِمfor their reckoning,,يَاOمُحَمَّدَMuhammadفَيُعْرَضُونَthen they will be presentedفَمَحَاسِبَهُمْthen He will reckon themاللَّهَAllahتَعَالَىthe ExaltedفَمَنSo whoeverحَاسَبَهُhe is reckonedحِسَابًاwith a reckoningيَسِيرًاeasy,,لَاnotيَغْضَبُangryعَلَيْهِat him,,وَيَجْعَلُand he makesسَيِّئَاتِهِhis sinsدَاخِلَinsideصَحِيفَتِهِhis record

O Muhammad, present your nation for their reckoning, and they will be presented, then Allah will reckon them. So whoever is reckoned with an easy reckoning, He will not be angry with him, and He will place his sins inside his record.

وَحَسَنَاتِهِand his good deedsظَاهِرَةًmanifestصَحِيفَتِهِhis record,,وَيُوضَعُand is placedعَلَىonرَأْسِهِhis headتَاجٌa crownمِنْmade ofذَهَبٍgoldمُكَللٌornamentedبِالدُّرُرِwith pearlsوَالْجَوَاهِرِand jewels

And his good deeds will be manifest in his record, and a crown will be placed on his head, made of gold, ornamented with pearls and jewels.

فَيَلْبَسُand he will wearسَبْعِينَseventyحُلَةًgarments..وَيَجْعَلُAnd he makesلَهُfor himثَلاثَةًthreeأَسَاوِرَbracelets..سُوَارٌA braceletمِنْofذَهَبٍgoldوَسُوَارٌand a braceletمِنْofلُؤْلُؤٍpearl

And he will wear seventy garments. He will be given three bracelets: a bracelet of gold and a bracelet of pearl.

فَيَرْجِعُAnd he returnsإِلَىtoإِخْوَانِهِhis brothersالْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersفَلَاThen he will notيَعْرِفُونَهُrecognize themمِنْbyجَمَالِهِhis beautyوَكَمَالِهِand perfection

And he returns to his brothers, the believers, and they will not recognize him by his beauty and perfection.

وَيَكُونُAnd he will haveبِيَمِينِهِin his right handكِتَابٌa bookأَعْمَالِهِof deedsحَسَنَاتِهِof his good deedsوَالْبَرَاءَةُand the acquittalمِنَfromالنَّارِthe fireمَعَwithالْخُلْدِthe eternityفِيinالْجَنَّةِparadise

And he will have in his right hand a book of his good deeds and acquittal from the fire with eternity in paradise.

فَيَقُولُAnd he will sayلَهُمْto themأَتَعْرِفُونَنِيDo you know me?أَنَاI amفُلَانٌso and soابْنُthe son ofفُلَانٍso and soقَدْindeedأَكْرَمَنِيhonored meاللَّهُAllahتَعَالَىthe ExaltedوَبَرَّAnd He spared meأَنِّيthat Iمِنَfromالنَّارِthe fireوَخَلَّدَنِيand He made me eternalفِيinدَارِthe abodeالْجِنَانِof the gardensكَمَاasفِيinدَقَائِقِthe minutiaeالْأَخْبَارِthe news

And he will say to them, 'Do you know me? I am so and so, the son of so and so. Indeed, Allah honored me and spared me from the fire and made me eternal in the abode of the gardens as mentioned in the minutiae of the news.'

وَأَمَّاAnd as forالْكَافِرُthe disbelieverفَيُوضَعُis placedعَلَىonرَأْسِهِhis headتَاجٌa crownمِنْofنَارٍfire,,وَيَلْبَسُand he will wearحُلَةًa garmentمِنْofنُحَاسٍbrassذَابٍmeltedوَيُقَلَّدُand a cord is put aroundعَلَىonعُنُقِهِhis neckحَبْلٌa ropeالكبريتِof sulfurوَيَشْتَعِلُAnd it ignitesفِيهِin it

And as for the disbeliever, a crown of fire will be placed on his head, and he will wear a garment of melted brass, and a cord of sulfur will be placed around his neck.

وَيُغَلُّAnd he will be shackledيَدَهُhis handsإِلَىtoعُنُقِهِhis neckوَيَسْوَدُّand his face will turn blackوَجْهُهُhis faceوَتَزْرَقُand his eyes will go blueعَيْنَاهُhis eyesفَيَرْجِعُAnd he will returnإِلَىtoإِخْوَانِهِhis brothersفَإِذَاAnd whenرَآهُthey see himفَزِعُواthey will be terrifiedمِنْهُof himوَنَفَرُواand they will fleeعَنْهُfrom himفَلَاThen they will notيَعْرِفُونَهُrecognize himحَتَّىuntilيَقُولُhe saysأَنَاI amفُلَانٌso and soثُمَّThenيَجُرُّونَهُthey drag himعَلَىonوَجْهِهِhis faceإِلَىtoالنَّارِthe fire

And he will be shackled, with his hands to his neck, and his face will turn black, and his eyes will go blue. Then he returns to his brothers, and when they see him, they will be terrified of him and will flee from him. They will not recognize him until he says, 'I am so and so.' Then they drag him on his face to the fire.

فَهَؤُلَاءِThen theseالْكَافِرُونَdisbelieversالَّذِينَwhoيُؤْتَوْنَare givenكِتَابَهُمْtheir bookبِشِمَالِهِمin their left handفَلَاThen they will notيَأْخُذُونَهَاtake itبِشِمَالِهِمwith their left handوَلَكِنbutيَأْخُذُونَهَاthey take itمِنَfromوَرَاءَbehindظُهُورِهِمtheir backsعَلَىasمَاwhatرَوَىwas mentionedعَنْهُfrom himعَلَيْهِpeaceالسَّلاَمُpeace::إِنَّIndeedالْكَافِرَthe disbelieverإِذَاWhenدُعِيَhe is calledلِلْحِسَابِfor reckoningبِاسْمِهِby his nameفَيُقَدَّمُa messenger is sentمَلَكٌan angelمِنَfromمَلَائِكَةِthe angelsالْعَذَابِof punishmentفَيَشُقُّand he splits

Then these disbelievers, who are given their book in their left hand, will not take it with their left hand, but they will take it from behind their backs as was mentioned from him upon peace: Indeed, the disbeliever, when he is called for reckoning by his name, an angel from the angels of punishment will be sent and he splits.
