وَأَيْضاًAnd alsoفِيinالسُّنَنthe SunnahsأَنَّthatمُعَاذاًMu'adhقَالَsaidلَهُto him::يَاOرَسُولَMessengerاللَّهِof Allahوَإِنَّاand weلَمُؤَاخَذُونَwill be held accountableبِمَاfor whatنَتَكَلَّمُwe speakبِهِ؟with?فَقَالَHe said::وَهَلْAnd is itيُكَبُّanyone thrownالنَّاسُthe peopleفِيintoالنَّارِthe Fireعَلَىonوُجُوهِهِمtheir facesأَوْorقَالَsaid::عَلَىonمَنَاخِرِهِمtheir nosesإِلَّاexceptحَصَائِدُthe harvestsأَلْسِنَتِهِمof their tongues
And also, in the Sunnah, that Mu'adh said to him: O Messenger of Allah, will we be held accountable for what we speak? He said: And is it not the case that people are thrown into the Fire on their faces or said: on their noses except for the harvests of their tongues.
فَبَيَّنَHe clarifiedأَنَّthatالكَلَامَthe speechإِنَّمَاis onlyهُوَwhatمَاisيَكُونُdoneبِالْلِّسَانِby the tongue,,وَفِيAnd in«الصَّحِيحِthe authenticعَنْfromالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetأَنَّهُthat heقَالَsaid::أَصْدَقُThe truestكَلِمَةٍwordقَالَهَاsaid byالشَّاعِرِthe poet::أَلَاIndeedكُلَّeverythingشَيْءٍisمَاexcept whatخَلَاis free fromاللَّهِAllahبَاطِلٌ.is false.
He clarified that the speech is only what is done by the tongue, and in the authentic Hadith from the Prophet that he said: The truest word ever said by a poet is: Indeed, everything is false, except what is free from Allah.
وَفِيAnd inالصَّحِيحَيْنِthe two authentic booksأَنَّهُthat heقَالَsaid::كَلِمَتَانِTwo wordsخَفِيفَتَانِare lightعَلَىonاللِّسَانِthe tongue,,ثَقِيلَتَانِare heavyفِيinالْمِيزَانِthe balance,,حَبِيبَتَانِbelovedإِلَىtoالرَّحْمَانِthe Most Merciful::سُبْحَانَGlory beاللَّهِto Allahوَبِحَمْدِهِand praise be to Him,,سُبْحَانَGlory beاللَّهِto Allahالْعَظِيمِ.the Most Great.
And in the two authentic books, that he said: Two words are light on the tongue but heavy in the balance, beloved to the Most Merciful: 'Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him,' 'Glory be to Allah the Most Great.'
وَقَدْAnd indeedقَالَsaidاللَّهُAllahتَعَالَى:the Exalted:﴿وَيُنذِرَAnd warnsالَّذِينَthose whoقَالُواsaidاتَّخَذَtookاللَّهُAllahوَلَدًاa childمَّاthat notلَهُمfor themبِهِwith himمِنْanyعِلْمٍknowledgeوَلَاand notلَاthere is for themبَابَهُمْtheir doorكَبُرَتْis a greatكَلِمَةًwordتَخْرُجُthat comes outمِنْfromأَفْوَاهِهِمْtheir mouths..إِنَّIndeedيَقُولُونَthey sayإِلَّاexceptكَذِبًاlies
And indeed Allah the Exalted said: "And warns those who said Allah has taken a child, they have no knowledge of this, nor do their forefathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they say nothing but lies."
فِيInالصَّحِيحِthe authentic،,عَنْfromالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetأَنَّهُthat heقَالَ:said:«أَفْضَلُThe bestالكَلَامِspeechبَعْدَafterالْقُرْآنِthe Quranأَرْبَعُfourكَلِمَاتٍwordsوَهُنَّand theyفِيinالْقُرْآنِ: سُبْحَانَGlory beاللَّهِto Allahوَالْحَمْدُand praiseلِلَّهِ،be to Allah,وَلَاand notإِلَٰهِa deityإِلَّاexceptاللَّهِ،Allah,وَاللَّهُand Allahأَكْبَرُ».is the Greatest."
In the authentic Hadith, that the Prophet said: "The best speech after the Quran are four words, which are in the Quran: 'Glory be to Allah and praise be to Allah, there is no deity except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.'"
رَوَىIt was narratedمُسْلِمٌ.by Muslim.وَقَالَAnd He saidتَعَالَى:the Exalted:﴿إِلَيْهِTo Himيَصْعَدُascendالْكَلِمُthe good wordsالطَّيِّبَةُgoodوَالْعَمَلُand the righteousالصَّالِحَةُdeedsيَرْفَعُهَا)are raised up.[فَاطِر: ١٠].[Fatir: 10].وَمِثْلُAnd similarهَذَاto thisكَثِيرٌis much.
It was narrated by Muslim. And He said the Exalted: "To Him ascend the good words and the righteous deeds are raised." [Fatir: 10]. And similar to this is much.
وَفِيAnd inالْجُمْلَة،summary,حَيْثُwhereذُكِرَit is mentionedاللَّهُthat AllahفِيinكِتَابِهِHis Bookعَنْaboutأَحَدٍanyoneمِنَofالْخَلْقِthe creationمِنَofالْأَنْبِيَاءِ،the Prophets,أَوْorأَتْبَاعِهِم،their followers,أَوْorمُكَذِّبِيهِمtheir deniersأَنَّهُمْthat theyقَالُواsaidوَيَقُولُونَand they sayوَذَلِكَand thisقَوْلُهُمْ،their statement,وَأَمْثَالُand similarذَٰلِكَ،to that,فَإِنَّمَاindeed it isيَعْنِيmeaningبِهِby itالْمَعْنَىthe meaningمَعَwithاللَّفْظِ،the word,فَهَذَاthisاللَّفْظُwordوَمَاand that whichتَصَرَّفَis derivedمِنْهُfrom itمِنْfromفِعْلٍactionمَاضٍpastوَمُضَارِعٍand presentوَأَمْرٍ،and imperative,وَمَصْدَرٍand noun of actionوَاسْمٍand nounفَاعِلٍof the doerمِنْfromلَفْظِthe wordالْقَوْلِthe sayingوَالكَلَامِand speechوَنَحْوِهِم،and similar words,إِنَّمَاindeedيُعْرَفُis knownفِيinالْقُرْآنِQuranوَالسُّنَّة،and Sunnah,وَسَائِرِand allكَلَامِspeechالْعَرَبِ،of the Arabs,إِذَاifكَانَit wasلَفْظًا.a word.
And in summary, where it is mentioned that Allah in His Book about anyone from the creation of the Prophets, or their followers, or their deniers, that they said and they say, and this is their statement, and similar to that, indeed it means the meaning with the word; this word and that which is derived from it from past, present, and imperative actions, and noun of action and the noun of the doer from the word of saying and speech and similar words, indeed it is known in the Quran and Sunnah, and all speech of the Arabs, if it was a word.
وَمَعْنَىAnd the meaning،,كَذَلِكَlikewiseأَنْوَاعَهُits typesكَالتَّصْدِيقِsuch as affirmationوَالْتَّكذِيبِand denialوَالأَمْرِand commandوَالنَّهيِand prohibitionوَغَيْرِand otherذَٰلِكَ.that.وَهَذَاAnd thisمِمَّاis among whatلَاcannotيُمْكِنُbe deniedأَحَدًاby anyone.جَحْدَهُ،For it is too many to be counted.فَإِنَّهُIndeed itأَكْثَرُis moreمِنْthanأَنْcan be counted.يُحْصَى.counted.وَلَمْAnd there was notيَكُنْwasفِيinمُسَمَّىthe nameالكَلَامِspeechنِزَاعٌdisputeبَيْنَbetweenالصَّحَابَةِthe companionsوَالتَّابِعِينَand their followersلَهُمto themبِإِحْسَانٍwith goodnessوَتَابِعِيهِمand their followersلَاnorمِنْofأَهْلِthe peopleالسُّنَّةِ،of the Sunnah,وَلَاnorمِنْofأَهْلِthe people(١)(1)
And the meaning likewise, its types such as affirmation, denial, command, prohibition, and other terms. And this is among what cannot be denied by anyone. Indeed it is too many to be counted. And there was not in the name of speech a dispute between the companions and their followers with goodness and their followers, nor among the people of the Sunnah, nor among the people.
