الْنَّاسُthe peopleوَبَلَغُوهَاand they conveyed itإِلَيْهِمْ،to them,وَقَاتَلُواand they foughtالْمُرْتَدِّينَthe apostatesبَعْدَafterمَوْتِهِhis deathوَالَّذِينَand those whoبَايَعُوهُpledged allegiance to himتَحْتَunderالشَّجَرَةِthe treeوَأَهْلِand the peopleبَدْرٍof Badrوَغَيْرِهِمْ،and others,بَلْratherالَّذِينَthose whoكَانُواwereمُنَافِقِينَ،hypocrites,غُمَارٍa multitudeمِنَofالنَّاسِ.the people.
The people conveyed it to them, and they fought the apostates after his death, and those who pledged allegiance to him under the tree, including the people of Badr and others, rather those who were hypocrites, a multitude of the people.
وَكَذَلِكَAnd likewiseالْأَنْسَابُthe lineagesمِثْلَlikeكَوْنَbeingالإِنْسَانِthe personأَبًاa fatherلِآخَرَto anotherأَوْorأَخَاهُ،his brother,يَثْبُتُis establishedفِيinبَعْضِsomeالْأَحْكَامِrulingsدُونَwithoutبَعْضٍ،some,فَإِنَّهُfor itقَدْhasثَبَتَbeen establishedفِيinالصَّحِيحَيْنِ»the two authentic (hadiths)."
Likewise, lineages, such as being a father to another or a brother, are established in some rulings without others, for it has been established in the two authentic hadiths."
