مِنَfromالرَّدِّthe responseعَلَىtoجَمِيعِallطَوَائِفِsectsأَهْلِof the peopleالْبِدَعِof innovationوَالضَّلَالِand misguidance
From the response to all sects of the people of innovation and misguidance.
وَمَاand whatتَضَمَّنَتْهُit containsمِنْofمَنَازِلِthe stationsالسَّائِرِينَof the wayfarersوَمَقَامَاتِand the ranksالْعَارِفِينَof the gnostics
And what it contains of the stations of the wayfarers, and the ranks of the gnostics.
وَالْفَرْقَand the differenceبَيْنَbetweenوَسَائِلِهَاits meansوَغَايَاتِهَاand its goals
And the difference between its means and its goals.
وَمَوَاهِبِهَاand its giftsوَكُسْبِيَّاتِهَاand its acquired states
And its gifts and its acquired states.
وَبَيَانِand the clarificationأَنَّهُthat itلَاdoes notيَقُومُstandغَيْرُother thanهَذِهِthisالسُّورَةِSurahمَقَامَهَاin its place
And the clarification that nothing other than this Surah can stand in its place.
وَلَاnorمَسَدَّهَاfulfill its role
Nor fulfill its role.
وَلِذَلِكَand thereforeلَمْdid notيُنَزِّلِrevealاللَّهُAllahفِيinالتَّوْرَاةِthe Torah
And therefore Allah did not reveal in the Torah.
وَلَاnorفِيinالْإِنْجِيلِthe Gospelوَلَاnorفِيinالْقُرْآنِthe Quranمِثْلَهَاits like
Nor in the Gospel, nor in the Quran, its like.
وَاللَّهُand Allahالْمُسْتَعَانُis the One whose help is soughtوَعَلَيْهِand upon Himالتَّكُلُّانُis reliance
And Allah is the One whose help is sought, and upon Him is reliance.
وَلَاand there is noحَوْلَpowerوَلَاand noقُوَّةَstrengthإِلَّاexceptبِاللَّهِby Allahالْعَلِيِّthe Most Highالْعَظِيمِthe Most Great
And there is no power and no strength except by Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
