As in the collection of Al-Tirmidhi and the Musnad of Ahmad from the hadith of Al-Nawwas, son of Sam'an, about the Prophet, peace be upon him, who said: 'Indeed, God, the Most High, struck an example: a straight path.

And a caller calls above the path.

فَالصِّرَاطُSo the pathالْمُسْتَقِيمُthe straight:: الإِسْلَامُis Islam.

So the straight path is Islam.

وَالسُّورَانِAnd the two walls:: حُدُودُare the limitsاللَّهِof God.

And the two walls are the limits of God.

وَالأَبْوَابُAnd the doorsالمُفَتَّحَةُthat are opened:: مَحَارِمُare the prohibitionsاللَّهِof God.

And the opened doors are the prohibitions of God.

And it may be that the addressed is a righteous believing jinn, and it may be a devil.

وَهَذَاAnd thisأَيْضًاalsoنَوْعَانِis two types.

And this is also two types.

أَحَدُهُمَاOne of themأَنْthatيُخَاطِبَهُhe addresses himخِطَابًاwith an addressيَسْمَعُهُhe hears itبِأُذُنِهِwith his ear.

One of them is that he addresses him with an address that he hears with his ear.

And from this is his promise and his wish when he promises the human and gives him hope, and orders him and forbids him.

كَمَاAsقَالَHe saidتَعَالَىthe Most High:: يَعِدُهُمHe promises themوandيُمنِّيَهُمgives them hope.

As He said, the Most High: 'He promises them and gives them hope.'
