١٣13‑‑بِئْرُWellزَمْزَمَZamzam
13 - Zamzam Well
وَعَطِشَAnd became thirstyإِسْمَاعِيلُIshmaelمَرَّةًonceوَأَرَادَتْand wantedأُمُّهُhis motherأَنْtoتَسْقِيَهُgive him to drinkمَاءً،water,وَلَكِنْbutأَيْنَwhereالْمَاءُ؟is the water?
And Ishmael was thirsty once, and his mother wanted to give him water, but where is the water?
وَمَكَّةُAnd Meccaلَيْسَnotفِيهَاin itبِئْرٌ،is a well,
And Mecca has no well,
وَمَكَّةُand Meccaلَيْسَnotفِيهَاin itنَهْرٌ.is a river.
and Mecca has no river.
وَكَانَتْAnd wasهَاجَرُHagarتَطْلُبُseekingالْمَاءَthe waterوَتَجْرِيand runningمِنَfromالصَّفَاAl-SafaإِلَىtoالْمَرْوَةِAl-Marwa
And Hagar was seeking the water and running from Al-Safa to Al-Marwa
وَمِنَand fromالْمَرْوَةِAl-Marwaإِلَىtoالصَّفَا.Al-Safa.
and from Al-Marwa to Al-Safa.
وَنَصَرَAnd helpedاللَّهُGodهَاجَرَHagarوَنَصَرَand helpedإِسْمَاعِيلَIshmaelفَخَلَقَso He createdلَهُمَاfor themمَاءًwater
And God helped Hagar and helped Ishmael, so He created water for them
وَخَرَجَand came outالْمَاءُthe waterمِنَfromالْأَرْضِ.the earth.
and the water came out from the earth.
وَشَرِبَAnd drankإِسْمَاعِيلُIshmaelوَشَرِبَتْand drankهَاجَرُHagarوَبَقِيَand remainedالْمَاءُ،the water,فَكَانَso it becameبِئْرُthe well ofزَمْزَمَ.Zamzam.
And Ishmael drank, and Hagar drank, and the water remained, so it became the well of Zamzam.
فَبَارَكَSo blessedاللَّهُGodفِيinزَمْزَمَZamzamوَهَذِهِand thisهِيَisالْبِئْرُthe wellالَّتِيwhichيَشْرَبُdrinkمِنْهَاfrom itالنَّاسُthe peopleفِيinالْحَجِّthe Hajj
So God blessed Zamzam, and this is the well from which the people drink during the Hajj
وَيَأْتُونَand they bringبِمَاءِwater ofزَمْزَمَZamzamإِلَىtoبَلَدِهِمْ.their country.
and they bring Zamzam water to their country.
هَلْHaveشَرِبْتَyou drunkمَاءَwater ofزَمْزَمَ؟Zamzam?
Have you drunk Zamzam water?
١٤14‑‑رُؤْيَاVision ofإِبْرَاهِيمَIbrahim
14 - Ibrahim's Vision
وَعَادَAnd returnedإِبْرَاهِيمُIbrahimإِلَىtoمَكَّةَMeccaبَعْدَafterمُدَّةٍ.a period.
And Ibrahim returned to Mecca after a period.
وَلَقِيَAnd he metإِسْمَاعِيلَIshmaelوَلَقِيَand he metهَاجَرَHagarوَفَرِحَand rejoicedإِبْرَاهِيمُIbrahimبِوَلَدِهِin his sonإِسْمَاعِيلَ.Ishmael.
And he met Ishmael and met Hagar, and Ibrahim rejoiced in his son Ishmael.
وَكَانَAnd wasإِسْمَاعِيلُIshmaelوَلَدًاa boyصَغِيرًا،small,يَجْرِيhe runsوَيَلْعَبُand playsوَيَخْرُجُand goes outمَعَwithوَالِدِهِ.his father.
And Ishmael was a small boy, running and playing and going out with his father.
وَكَانَAnd wasإِبْرَاهِيمُIbrahimيُحِبُّlovesإِسْمَاعِيلَIshmaelجِدًّا.very much.
And Ibrahim loved Ishmael very much.
