Some of them were sleeping, carrying their rifles and swords, and their bodies were covered with mud and dirt, and their clothes were torn. Everyone seemed exhausted to the extreme.

Henry sat sadly until Wilson returned carrying two bags.
قَالَsaidويلسون:Wilson:«حَسَنًاOkayيَاOهنري،Henry,سَتَكُونُyou will beبِخَيْرٍwellبَعْدَafterقَلِيلٍ.a little.
Wilson said: 'Okay, Henry, you will be well after a little.'

Wilson kindled the fire and stirred the sticks in it, then gave Henry a drink from the water skin which contained cold coffee.

Henry drank a lot, and the coffee softened his throat. After he finished, he sighed a sigh of happiness and relaxation. After that, Wilson tied Henry's head with a large handkerchief.

Wilson said while looking at what he did: "Here you seem like the devil, but I bet you are better now."

You are strong, Henry; when we were cleaning your wound you did not scream or say anything, although head injuries can be dangerous. Now recline and get some rest.

Henry lay down in caution, stretching and releasing murmurs of relaxation. The ground seemed as if it were a comfortable couch.
لَكِنَّهُBut heقَامَstood upفَجْأَةًsuddenlyوَقَالَ:and said:«انْتَظِرْWaitلَحْظَةً،a moment,أَيْنَwhereسَتَنَامُ؟will you sleep?
But he stood up suddenly and said: 'Wait a moment, where will you sleep?'
لَوَّحَwavedإِلَيْهِto himصَدِيقَهُhis friend
He waved to his friend.
قَالَHe saidهُنَاكَthereبِالْقُرْبِnearمِنْكَto you
He said: 'There, near to you.'
عَلَىOnأَيِّwhichشَيْءٍthingسَتَنَامُ؟will you sleep?فَغِطَاؤُكَfor your coveringمَعِي.is with me.
On which thing will you sleep? For your covering is with me.
دَمْدَمَMurmuredويلسون:Wilson:«اهْدَأْCalm downوَاخْلُدْand sleepإِلَىtoالنَّوْمِ.sleep.لَاDon'tتَكُنْbeأَحْمَقَ.foolish.
Wilson murmured: 'Calm down and sleep. Don't be foolish.'

Then Henry was silent.

Sleepiness crept into his entire body. Under the comfortable warm cover, he put his head on his arm and closed his eyes quickly. And when he heard the sounds of gunfire from afar, he wondered: Do these men sleep? He sighed long, curled up inside the cover, and soon fell asleep like his friends.

When Henry woke up from his sleep, he felt as if he had been sleeping for a thousand years.

He trembled when a cold drop of dew fell on him, and for a moment he stared at the leaves of the tree blowing above him. And from afar, he was able to hear the sounds of the battle.

He was surrounded by groups of men sleeping in strange positions without movement, their faces looking pallid.

For a moment, Henry thought they were all dead. After that, he saw Wilson warming himself by a small fire, and he saw a few men moving through the fog, and he heard the sound of a person cutting wood.

The drums of war sounded suddenly, and the faint sound of a horn was heard from afar.
