Henry and Wilson blushed with shyness upon hearing that news, and soon they forgot much of the matters.

They did not return to feeling frustration, rather they were happy indeed. Filled was their two hearts with feelings of gratitude and appreciation for the leader and the lieutenant.

الْهُجُومُThe attackالثَّانِيthe second
The second attack
حِينَWhenبَدَأَتْbeganقُوَّاتُforces ofالْعَدُوِّthe enemyهُجُومَهَاtheir attackالثَّانِيsecondمِنْfromوَسْطِthe middle ofالْغَابَةِ،the forest,كَانَwasهنريHenryأَكْثَرَmoreثِقَةًconfidentبِنَفْسِهِ.in himself.
When forces of the enemy began their second attack from the middle of the forest, Henry was more confident in himself.
كَانَHe wasيَقِفُstandingشَامِخًاtall,رَابِطَfirm ofالْجَأْشِheartبَيْنَمَاwhileيَتَوَارَىare hidingالْآخَرُونَthe others.
He was standing tall, firm of heart while the others are hiding.
رَاقَبَWatchedهنريHenryالْهُجُومَthe attackالَّذِيwhichبَدَأَbeganبِمُوَاجَهَةِby facingفَرِيقٍa teamمِنْfromجَيْشِهِhis armyكَانَthat wasعَلَىonجَانِبِthe side ofتَلٍّa hillقَرِيبٍnearby.

وَAndفِيinمَكَانٍa placeآخَرَotherفِيinالْحَقْلِthe field,كَانَthere wasهُنَاكَthereقِتَالٌfightingعَنِيفٌfierceوَandسَرِيعٌrapidبَيْنَbetweenكَتِيبَتَيْنِtwo battalionsبَدَتَاthat appearedوَكَأَنَّهُمَاas if theyتَتَجَاهَلَانِwere ignoringالْمَعَارِكَthe battlesالْأُخْرَىotherالَّتِيthatتَدُورُwere revolvingحَوْلَهُمَاaround them.
And in another place in the field, there was there fighting fierce and rapid between two battalions that appeared as if they were ignoring the other battles that were revolving around them.
وَفِيAnd inاتِّجَاهٍdirectionآخَرَ،another,رَأَىsawهنريHenryمَجْمُوعَةًa groupهَائِلَةًhugeمِنَofالْجُنُودِthe soldiersتَقْتَحِمُstormingالْغَابَةَ.the forest.
And in direction another, saw Henry a group huge of the soldiers storming the forest.
غَابَتْVanishedهَذِهِthisالْمَجْمُوعَةُgroupعَنِfromالْأَنْظَارِ،sight,وَسُرْعَانَand soonمَاwhatتَعَالَتْroseأَصْوَاتُthe voices ofالْقِتَالِthe battleوَالْقَصْفِ.and bombardment.
Vanished this group from sight, and soon what rose the voices of the battle and bombardment.
رَاقَبَWatchedهنريHenryالْمَعَارِكَthe battlesالصَّغِيرَةَsmallالَّتِيthatاسْتَمَرَّتْcontinuedبَعْضَsomeالْوَقْتِ.time.
Watched Henry the battles small that continued some time.
تَقَاتَلَFoughtالْجَيْشَانِthe two armiesقِتَالًاa fightingضَارِيًا،fierce,وَرَأَىand sawهنريHenryالرَّايَتَيْنِthe two flagsتُرَفْرِفَانِflutteringوَسْطَamidstالدُّخَانِ.the smoke.

هُدُوءٌA calmجَعَلَthat madeالْمَكَانَthe placeأَشْبَهَresembleبِالْكَنِيسَةِthe church.
A calm that made the place resemble the church.
وَفَجْأَةًAnd suddenlyانْطَلَقَتِshot forthالطَّلَقَاتُthe shotsالنَّارِيَّةُfieryمِنْfromنَاحِيَةِthe direction ofمُنْحَدَرٍa slopeقَرِيبٍ،nearby,وَبَدَأَand beganصَوْتُthe sound ofإِطْلَاقِfiringالنِّيرَانِfiresدَاخِلَinsideالْغَابَةِ.the forest.
And suddenly shot forth the shots fiery from the direction of a slope nearby, and began the sound of firing fires inside the forest.
زَادَتْIncreasedسُرْعَةُthe speed ofإِطْلَاقِfiringالنِّيرَانِfiresلِلْغَايَةِgreatlyحَتَّىuntilأَصْبَحَbecameصَوْتُهَاits soundلَاnotيُتَصَوَّرُ،imaginable,ولَمْand notيَسْتَطِعْwas ableهنريHenryسَمَاعَto hearشَيْءٍanythingآخَرَ.else.
Increased the speed of firing fires greatly until became its sound not imaginable, and not was able Henry to hear anything else.
كَانَWereالْجُنُودُthe soldiersيَنْدَفِعُونَrushingهُنَاhereوَandهُنَاكَthereفِيinكُلِّeveryمَكَانٍplaceيَنْظُرُونthey lookفِيهِ.in it.
Were the soldiers rushing here and there in every place they look in.
فِيInبَعْضِsomeالْأَحْيَانِtimesكَانَwouldرِجَالُthe men ofأَحَدِone ofالْجَيْشَيْنِthe two armiesيَصْرُخُونَshoutوَandيُهَلِّلُونَcheer,لَكِنْbutبَعْدَafterلَحْظَةٍa momentيُهَلِّلُcheerجُنُودُthe soldiers ofالْجَيْشِthe armyالْآخَرِotherبِالْمِثْلِthe likeتَمَامًا.exactly.
In some times would the men of one of the two armies shout and cheer, but after a moment cheer the soldiers of the army other the like exactly.
كَانَتِWereالصَّرَخَاتُthe shoutsوَandالْهُتَافَاتُthe chantsتَمْلَأُfillingالْأَرْجَاءَ.the surroundings.
Were the shouts and the chants filling the surroundings.
تَقَدَّمَتْAdvancedكَتِيبَةُbattalion ofهنريHenryالصَّغِيرَةُthe smallبِنَفْسِwith the veryالْحَمَاسِenthusiasmالَّذِيthatكَانُواthey wereعَلَيْهِupon itعِنْدَمَاwhenحَانَarrivedوَقْتُهُمْ.their time.

Let out the men a cry of anger and pain when opened up the enemy fire upon them.
كَانَThere wasأَمَامَهُمْbefore themحَاجِزٌa barrierمِنَofالدُّخَانِsmokeلَمْnotيَرَوْاthey sawمِنْfromخِلَالِهِthrough itإِلَّاexceptingوَمَضَاتِflashes ofالْأَعْيِرَةِbulletsالنَّارِيَّةِfieryالْحَمْرَاءَredوَالصَّفْرَاءَ.and yellow.
There was before them a barrier of smoke not they saw from through it excepting flashes of bullets fiery red and yellow.
وَسُرْعَانَAnd soonمَاwhatاكْتَسَواthey were coveredبِالْأَوْسَاخِin dirtوَالسُّخَامِ.and soot.
And soon what they were covered in dirt and soot.
اسْتَمَرَّContinuedالْمُلَازِمُthe lieutenantيَصْرُخُshoutingفِيatالْجُنُودِthe soldiersلِيُوَاصِلُواto continueالْقِتَالَthe fighting,بَيْنَمَاwhileظَلَّremainedهنريHenryيَحْمِلُholdingالرَّايَةَ.the flag.
Continued the lieutenant shouting at the soldiers to continue the fighting, while remained Henry holding the flag.

He tried to see everything that he is able to, he was sometimes jerking and sometimes talking to himself, nay, indeed he in some times not he was knowing even if he was breathing or not.
