رَابعًا:Fourth:أَنَّهُthat heقَدْhasصَرَّحَassertedبِالنِّسْبَةِthe attributionهَذَاthisالْكِتَابَbookلِلْمُؤَلِّفِto the authorمَنْwhoلَاdoes notيَشُكُّdoubtفِيinخِبْرَتِهِhis expertiseبِالشَّيْخِ،with the Sheikh,وَوَلَائِهِand his loyaltyلَهُto himوَلِاعْتِقَادِهِand his beliefالسَّلَفِيِّ،in Salafism,أَلَاnamelyوَهُوَhe isالْعَلَّامَةُthe scholarابْنُIbnالْقَيِّمِ.al-Qayyim.
Fourth: He has asserted the attribution of this book to the author, who does not doubt his expertise with the Sheikh, his loyalty to him, and his belief in Salafism, namely, the scholar Ibn al-Qayyim.
فَقَدْHe hasقَرَّرَdeterminedأَنَّthatلِشَيْخِهِhis SheikhابْنَIbnتَيْمِيَّةَTaimiyyahتَصْنِيفًاa famous workمَشْهُورًاknownفِيinمَسْأَلَةِthe issueفَنَاءِof the annihilationالنَّارِof the fire(١)(1)وَشَهَادَتُهُand his testimonyدَلِيلٌis a conclusive proofقَاطِعٌ.decisive.
He has determined that his Sheikh Ibn Taimiyyah has a famous work on the issue of the annihilation of the fire (1), and his testimony is a conclusive proof.
بَلْRather,إِنَّindeedمَاwhatذَكَرَهُhe mentionedفِيinكِتَابِهِhis book"حَادِي"Hadiالأَرْوَاحِ"al-Arwah"حَوْلَaboutهَذِهِthisالْمَسْأَلَةِissueقَدْhasاعْتَمَدَreliedفِيهَاin itعَلَىonرِسَالَةِthe treatiseشَيْخِهِof his SheikhابْنِIbnتَيْمِيَّةَTaimiyyahالَّتِيwhichهِيَisبِصَدَدِin the process ofالْتَّحْقِيقِ،investigation,فَإِنَّهُfor heأَحْيَانًاsometimesيُصَرِّحُexplicitly statesبِالنَّقْلِthe narrationوَأَحْيَانًاand sometimesيَنْقُلُhe conveysبِتَصَرُّفٍwith some alterationوَقَدْand I haveأَشَرْتُpointedإِلَىtoذَٰلِكَthatفِيinالْهَامِشِthe footnoteأَثْنَاءَduringالْتَّحْقِيقِ.the investigation.
Rather, indeed, what he mentioned in his book "Hadi al-Arwah" about this issue he has relied on the treatise of his Sheikh Ibn Taimiyyah, which is under investigation, for he sometimes explicitly states the narration and sometimes conveys it with some alteration, and I have pointed that out in the footnote during the investigation.
خامِسًا:Fifth:هَذِهِThisالرِّسَالَةُtreatiseقَدْhasنُسِبَتْattributedإِلَىtoشَيْخِthe Sheikhالإِسْلَامِof Islamمِنْfromخُصُومِهِhis contemporaneous opponentsالْمُعَاصِرِينَof his timeلَهُto himالشَّيْخُ:the Sheikh:عَلِيٌّAliبِنْbinعَبْدِAbdالْكَافِيِal-Kafiالسُّبْكِيِّ،al-Sabki,حَيْثُwhereأَلَّفَhe authoredرِسَالَةًa treatiseبِعُنْوَانٍentitled"الِاعْتِبَارِ"Al-I'tibarبِبَقَاءِon the permanenceالْجَنَّةِof Paradiseوَالنَّارِ"and the Fire"وَفِيAnd inأَثْنَائِهَاits midstقَالَ:he said:"وَبَدَأْنَا"And we beganبِالنَّارِwith the Fireلِأَنَّنَاbecause weوَقَفْنَاhave come acrossعَلَىa workتَصْنِيفٍa classificationلِبَعْضِof someأَهْلِof the peopleالْعَصْرِof the ageفِيinفَنَائِهَا"its annihilation"(٢)(2)
Fifth: This treatise has been attributed to Sheikh al-Islam by his contemporaneous opponent Sheikh Ali bin Abd al-Kafi al-Sabki, where he authored a treatise entitled "Al-I'tibar on the permanence of Paradise and the Fire," and in its midst he said: "And we began with the Fire because we have come across a classification of some of the people of the age regarding its annihilation" (2).
ثُمَّThenقَالَ:he said:"وَقَدْ"And I haveوَقَفْتُcome acrossعَلَىtheالتَّصْنِيفِclassificationالمَذْكُورِ،mentioned,وَذَكَرَand mentionedفِيهِin itثَلاثَةًthreeأَقْوَالٍstatementsفِيonفَنَاءِthe annihilationالْجَنَّةِof Paradiseوَالنَّارِ"and the Fire"(٣):(3):
Then he said: "And I have come across the mentioned classification, and in it are three statements regarding the annihilation of Paradise and the Fire" (3):
أَحَدُهَا:One of them is:أَنَّهُthat itمَاdoes notتَفْنِيَانِperish,وَقَالَand he saidإِنَّهُthat itلَمْhas notيُقَلْbeen saidبِهِby itأَحَدٌanyoneمِنَofالسَّلَفِ.the Salaf.
One of them is: that it does not perish, and he said that it has not been said by anyone of the Salaf.
وَالثَّانِي:And the second is:أَنَّهُthat itمَاdoes notتَفْنَى.perish.
And the second is: that it does not perish.
وَالثَّالث:And the third is:أَنَّthatالْجَنَّةَParadiseتَبْقَىremainsوَالنَّارُand the Fireتَفْنَىperishes(٤).(4).
And the third is: that Paradise remains and the Fire perishes (4).
وَجَمِيعُAnd allالنُّصُوصِthe textsالَّتِيwhichسَاقَهَاhe citedالسُّبْكِيُّal-Sabkiفِيinرِسَالَتِهِhis treatiseمَوْجُودَةٌare presentفِيinرِسَالَةِthe treatiseشَيْخِof the Sheikhالإِسْلَامِof IslamابْنِIbnتَيْمِيَّةَTaimiyyahالَّتِيwhichهِيَisمَوْضُوعُthe subject ofالْتَّحْقِيقِ.the investigation.
And all the texts that al-Sabki cited in his treatise are found in the treatise of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taimiyyah, which is the subject of the investigation.
وَبِكُلِّAnd in any case,حَالٍ،in any circumstance,فَإِنَّfor indeedالنَّاظِرَthe observerفِيinهَذِهِthisالرِّسَالَةِtreatiseيَلْحَظُnoticesسِمَةًa characteristicبَارِزَةًprominentلِمَنْهَجِto the methodologyشَيْخِof the Sheikh
And in any case, the observer of this treatise notices a prominent characteristic of the methodology of the Sheikh.
