Abbas, for if I want that from those who have submitted in the world, it is not like that; for the address is indeed for those who were of the allies of Satan and the jinn who enjoyed each other, and these are part of the Muslims, and all who submitted preceded in it the knowledge of Allah, and that he submits. And as if the one who says this thought that this address is to the living, and it is not like that, but this address is for them on the Day of Resurrection, and if he intended that they submit in Hell and come out from it, this contradicts what the Quran indicates in many places. For Abd Allah ibn Mas'ud said: "There will come a time upon Hell when there is no one in it, and that is after they remain in it for ages, and these are the disbelievers, and about Abu Huraira and its like" (2) Al-Baghawi said: "And its meaning among the people of the Sunnah - if it is established - is that no one from the people of faith remains in it." (3)

فَيُقَالُ:And it is said:إِنَّهُمَاthat theyلَمْhave notيُودَاintendedذَٰلِكَ،that,فَإِنَّهُمَاfor theyبَعْدَafterمَاwhatيَلْبَثُونَthey remainفِيَهَاin itأَحْقَابًاagesوَهَٰؤُلَاءِand theseهُمْareالْكَفَّارُthe disbelieversالْمَذْكُورُونَmentionedفِيinقَوْلِهِHis sayingتَعَالَى:the Exalted:{إِنَّIndeed,جَهَنَّمَHellكَانَتْwasمِرْصَادًاa trapلِلطَّاغِينَfor the tyrantsمَئَابًاdestinationلابِثِينَremainingفِيهَاin itأَحْقَابًاfor agesلَاnotيَذُوقُونَthey will tasteفِيهَاin itبَرْدًاcoolnessوَلَاand noشَرَابًاdrinkإِلَّاexceptحَمِيمًاboiling waterوَغَسَّاقًاand pusجَزَاءًas a rewardوِفَاقًاin accordanceإِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyكَانُواwereلَاnotيَرْجُونَhopingحِسَابًاfor accountabilityوَكَذَّبُواand they deniedبِآيَاتِنَاour signsكِذَّابًا}with denial.} (4)

And it is said: that they have not intended that, for they, after they remain in it for ages, are those disbelievers mentioned in His saying the Exalted: {Indeed, Hell was a trap for the tyrants, a destination remaining in it for ages; they will not taste in it coolness and no drink except boiling water and pus as a reward in accordance. Indeed, they were not hoping for accountability and they denied our signs with denial.} (4)

وَهَذَاAnd thisالْوَصْفُdescriptionالَّذِينَof those whoكَذَّبُواdeniedبِآيَاتِwith the signsاللَّهِof Allah{كِذَّابًا}{with denial},أَيْthat is, it isتَكْذِيبًا،denial;فَهُوَindeed it isتَكْذِيبٌa denialمُؤَكِّدٌemphasizedبِالْمَصْدَرِ،by the source,وَلَمْand did notأَجِدْI findنَقْلًاany transmissionمَشْهُورًاfamousعَنْfromأَحَدٍanyoneمِنَofالْصَّحَابَةِthe companionsيُخَالِفُopposesذَٰلِكَ،that,بَلْratherأَبُوAbuسَعِيدٍSaeedوَأَبُوand AbuهُرَيْرَةَHurayraهُمَاbothرَوَىnarratedحَدِيثًاa hadeethذَبْحَabout the slaughterالْمَوْتِof death(٥)(5)

And this description of those who denied the signs of Allah {with denial,} that is, it is denial; indeed it is a denial emphasized by the source, and I did not find any famous transmission from anyone of the companions opposing that, but rather Abu Saeed and Abu Hurayra both narrated a hadeeth about the slaughter of death (5).
