So if it obstructs them on their way, a battalion from it stormed the inhabited house and scattered every displaced inhabitant, and they saw nothing in front of them except fleeing from this oppressive destructive enemy.

ومهماAnd whateverتحدثهspeaksهذهthisالنمالant

And whatever harm these fierce wild ants may cause, the benefits that arise from their raids make the residents forget all the losses and damages they have incurred, as they destroy scorpions, spiders, mosquitoes, snakes, mice, and so on from harmful insects, purifying the place they invade.

ولهذاAnd for thisيزعمونthey claimأنthatالأهلينthe peopleفيinبعضsomeهذهtheseالأقاليمregionsيرقبونwatchإغارةraidهذهthisالنمالthe antsعليهمupon themبفارغeagerlyالصبرpatienceويعدونand they considerمقدمهاits arrivalعلىonماwhatفيهis in itمنofأضرارharmنعمةblessingوبركةand graceخيرًاgoodعميمًاgenerally

And for this, they claim that the people in some of these regions eagerly watch for the raid of these ants upon them. They consider its arrival, despite the harm it brings, a blessing and a good thing in general.

It remains stably attached to each other under the ground. Inside these ants, there is a sweet, uncrystallized drink that resembles its fragrant taste to honey, and the Indians of Mexico indulge in this sweet drink with strange greediness, mixing it with some of their foods to be among the finest types of sweets.

انْظُرُواLookإِلَىatاَلنَّمْلَةِthe antفِيinصِغَرِsmallnessجُثَّتِهَاher bodyوَلَطَافَةِand delicacyهَيْئَتِهَاher shapeلاَnotتَكَادُalmostتُنَالُto be reachedبِلَحْظِby the glance ofاَلْبَصَرِthe eyeكَيْفَhowدَبَّتْcrawledعَلَىonأَرْضِهَاher groundوَصُبَّتْand was pouredعَلَىonرِزْقِهَاher sustenanceتَنْقُلُtransfersاَلْحَبَّةَthe grainإِلَىtoمَسْكَنِهَاher dwellingوَتُعِدُّهَاand prepares itفِيinمُسْتَقَرِّهَاher nest

Look at the ant — in the smallness of her body and the delicacy of her shape, she can barely be reached by the glance of the eye — how she crawled on her ground and her sustenance was poured on it: she transfers the grain to her dwelling and prepares it in her nest.

تَجْمَعُgatherفِيinحَرِّهَاits heatلِبَرْدِهَاfor its coldمَكْفُولَةٌguaranteedبِرِزْقِهَاwith its sustenanceمَرْزُوقَةٌprovidedبِوِفْقِهَاin accordance with it(طَاقَتِهَا(its capacityوَكِفَايَتِهَا)and its sufficiency)..

It gathers in its heat for its cold, guaranteed with its sustenance, provided in accordance with it (its capacity and sufficiency).

وَلَوْAnd ifفَكَّرْتَyou thinkفِيinمَجَارِيthe pathwaysأَكْلِهَاof its consumptionفِيinعُلْوِهَاits upper partوَسُفْلِهَاand its lower partوَفِيand inالْجَوْفِthe cavityمِنْofشَرَاسِيفِthe edgesبَطْنِهَاof its belly(أَطْرَافِ(the edgesالْأَضْلَاعِof the ribsالَّتِيwhichتُشْرِفُoverlooksعَلَىuponالْبَطْنِthe belly،وَ, andمَاwhatفِيinاَلرَّأْسِthe head::مِنْofعَيْنِهَاits eyeوَأُذُنِهَاand its ear

And if you think about the pathways of its consumption, in its upper and lower parts and in the cavity of its belly (the edges of the ribs that overlook on the belly), and what is in the head: of its eye and its ear.

لَقَضَيْتَYou have spentمِنْofخَلْقِهَاher creationعَجَبًا،in wonder,وَلَقِيتَand you encounteredمِنْfromوَصْفِهَاher descriptionتَعَبًا.exhaustion.

You have spent (time) in wonder of her creation, and you encountered exhaustion from her description.
