follows.

Indeed, Allah - the Most High - refuted the polytheists and their false beliefs in various ways, and their explanation is as follows.

  • ١ -
  • 1 -
  • أَوْلَا:
  • First:
  • مُطَالَبَتُهُمْ
  • demanding from them
  • بِالدَّلِيلِ
  • the proof
  • عَلَى
  • for
  • مَا
  • what
  • يَزْعُمُونَ،
  • they claim,
  • وَنَقْضُ
  • and invalidating
  • تَمَسُّكِهِمْ
  • their adherence
  • بِتَقْلِيدِ
  • to the blind following of
  • آبَائِهِمْ.
  • their forefathers.

1 - First: demanding proof from them for what they claim, and invalidating their adherence to the blind following of their forefathers.

  • ٢ -
  • 2 -
  • ثَانِيًا:
  • Second:
  • إِثْبَاتُ
  • establishing
  • أَنْ
  • that
  • لَا
  • there is no
  • تَسَاوِيَ
  • equality
  • بَيْنَ
  • between
  • الرَّبِّ
  • the Lord
  • وَالْعِبَادِ
  • and the servants

2 - Second: establishing that there is no equality between the Lord and the servants,

  • وَأَنَّ
  • and that
  • الرَّبَّ
  • the Lord
  • - تَعَالَى -
  • - the Most High -
  • مُخْتَصٌّ
  • is exclusively entitled
  • بِاسْتِحْقَاقِ
  • to the merit of
  • أَقْصَى
  • the utmost
  • غَايَةِ
  • limit of
  • التَّعْظِيمِ
  • aggrandizement
  • بِخِلَافِ
  • unlike
  • جَمِيعِ
  • all
  • عِبَادِهِ
  • His servants
  • وَجَمِيعِ
  • and all
  • مَخْلُوقَاتِهِ.
  • His creations.

and that the Lord - the Most High - is exclusively entitled to the merit of the utmost limit of aggrandizement, unlike all His servants and all His creations.
