حَتَّىٰ
Evenبِنُبُوَّةِ
with the prophethoodسَيِّدِنَا
of our masterمُوسَىٰ
Moses-
-عَلَيْهِ
upon himالسَّلَامُ
peace-
-أَيْضاً،
also,Even with the prophethood of our master Moses - peace be upon him - also,
تَحُولُ
standالصِّفَاتُ
the human attributesالْبَشَرِيَّةُ
human:
(الَّتِي
whichيَتَّسِمُ
characterizeبِهَاهَا
them)
)بَيْنَهُمْ
between themوَبَيْنَ
andرُؤْيَةِ
seeingجَمَالِهِمُ
their true beautyالْحَقِيقِيِّ،
true,human attributes (which characterize prophets) stand between them and seeing their true beauty,
وَتَحْجُبُهُمْ
and veil them-
-:
due to their ignoranceوَقِلَّةِ
and lackإِدْرَاكِهِمْ
of their perception)
-عَنِ
from,
discoveringمَكَانَتِهِمُ
their true status.
,and veil them - due to their ignorance and lack of perception - from discovering their true status,
وَكَانُوا
and they were,
due to their failureوَإِدْرَاكِهِمْ
to realize and comprehend:
the reality of divine planning,
and divine wisdom,
which necessitatesبِعْثَةَ
the sendingالْأَنْبِيَاءِ
of prophetsوَالْمُرْسَلِينَ،
and messengers,and they were - due to their failure to realize and comprehend the reality of divine planning and divine wisdom, which necessitates the sending of prophets and messengers -
يَسْتَبْعِدُونَ
deeming impossibleرِسَالَةَ
the message:
of the messengers:
because they believedأَنَّ
that:
the messenger:
ought to be:
like the senderdeeming the message of the messengers impossible because they believed that the messenger ought to be like the sender
وَيُورِدُونَ
and they put forward:
for that reason:
flimsy and weak doubts,
,and they put forward for that reason flimsy and weak doubts,
فَيَقُولُونَ
so they say:
for example:so they say for example:
How can the prophet be in need of food and drink?
And why did God not send an angel as a messenger?
And what is the purpose of not revealing to every person separately, and so on?
وَإِدَا
And if-

hesitate:
in accepting:
the truth of what is said:
about the beliefs of the polytheists:
and their deeds,And if you - O reader - hesitate in accepting the truth of what is said about the beliefs of the polytheists and their deeds,
فَانْظُرْ
then look:
at the superstitious:
in this era,
,then look at the superstitious in this era,

especially those:
who dwell:
among them:
on the borders:
of the Abode of Islam,
,especially those who dwell among them on the borders of the Abode of Islam,

what are their perceptions:
about 'Wilayah',

for although:
they acknowledge:
the guardianship of past saints,

the existence of saints:
in our era:
as impossible,

and they frequent:
graves and thresholds,

and have been afflicted:
