And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had said to him: This son of mine is a master, and perhaps Allah, Majestic and Mighty is He, will bring about peace through him between two groups of Muslims.

As for whom you gave after a request, you only gave him in exchange for what he offered you of his face's dignity. And perhaps he spent his night tossing and turning, sleepless, hesitating between despair and hope, not knowing what his need will bring: the sadness of rejection or the joy of success, so he comes to you with his flanks trembling and his heart fearful and throbbing.
