هَلْDoفَهِمْتُمْyou understandالْآنَ؟now?

Do you understand now?

إِنَّهُمْTheyيَأْخُذُونَare takingبُوكْسَرَBoxerلِذَبْحِهِto slaughter him

They are taking Boxer to slaughter him.

دَوَّتْA loud cryصَرْخَةٌscreamedرُعْبٌof terrorصَدَرَتْissuedعَنْfromالْجَمِيعُeveryone

A loud cry of terror issued from everyone.

فِيInتِلْكَthatاللَّحْظَةِmomentضَرَبَstruckالرَّجُلُthe manالْجِيَادَthe horsesبِالسُّوطِwith the whipفَخَبَتْand they quieted down،وَهُمْwhile theyتَجُرُّpullingالْعَرَبَةَthe cartمُغَادِرَةًleaving

In that moment, the man struck the horses with the whip, and they quieted down, while they were pulling the cart leaving.

انْطَلَقَتِstartedالْحَيَوَانَاتُthe animalsوَرَاءَهُbehind him،وَهُمْand theyيَصْرُخُونَscreamingبِكُلِّwith allقُوَّتِهِمْher power

The animals started running behind him, screaming with all their power.

شَقَّتْCleaver

She cleaved her way to the front.

بَدَأَتْThe cart beganالْعَرَبَةُthe cartتَزِيدُto increaseمِنْofسُرْعَتِهَاits speedاِسْتَثَارَتْstimulatedالْفَرَسَthe mareقُوَّةًPowerقَوَائِمِهَاits legs،وَبَدَأَتْAnd she began

The cart began to increase its speed, stimulating the mare’s power in her legs.

وَبَدَأَتْAnd she beganتَتَقَدَّمُto move forwardخَبِيئًاhiddenly.

And she began to move forward hiddenly.

وَصَرَخَتْAnd yelledبُوكْسَرَBoxerبُوكْسَرَBoxerبُوكْسَرَBoxer،فِيAtتِلْكَthatاللَّحْظَةِmomentبِالضَّبْطِexactlyالتَفَتَturnedبُوكْسَرَBoxerكَمَاasلَوْifأَنَّهُheسَمِعَheardصَرَاخَةَthe screamخَارِجًاoutside،وَظَهَرَتْand appearedمِنْfromنَافِذَةِthe windowالْعَرَبَةِthe cartالْخَلْفِيَّةِthe back،وَظَهَرَتْAnd appearedيَعْرِفُهَاhis maneالْأَبْيَضَthe whiteالَّذِيwhichيَصِلُreachesحَتَّىtoأَنْفِهِhis nose

And yelled, "Boxer! Boxer! Boxer!" At that moment exactly, Boxer turned as if he heard the scream from outside, and appeared from the window of the back of the cart, and his white mane which reaches to his nose appeared.

صَرَخَتْscreamedكَلُوفَرCloverبِصَوْتٍin a voiceمَفْجُوعٍhorrifiedبُوكْسَرَBoxerاهْرُبْRun awayاهْرُبْRun awayبِسُرْعَةٍquicklyإِنَّهُمْTheyيَأْخُذُونَكَare taking youإِلَىtoالْمَوْتِthe death

Clover screamed in a horrified voice: "Boxer! Run away! Run away quickly! They are taking you to death!"

رَدَّدُواrepeated

They all shouted, "Run away, Boxer! Run!"

لَكِنَّButالْعَرَبَةُthe cartكَانَتْhad beenقَدْhadبَدَأَتْstartedتَبْتَعِدُto move awayبِسُرْعَةٍquicklyوَلَاand notيَبدوit seemsأَنْthatبُوكْسَرَBoxerقَدْhadنِدَاءَrespond toكَلُوفَرCloverفَSoسُرْعَانَquicklyمَاnotاخْتَفَىdisappearedوَجْهُهُhis faceمِنَfromالنَّافِذَةِthe window

But the cart had already started to move away quickly, and it did not seem that Boxer had responded to Clover's call, and soon his face disappeared from the window.

لَكِنَّButفِيinمَاafterسَمِعْتُI heardحَوَافِرَهُhis hoovesوَهِيَand theyتَضْرِبُhitدَاخِلَinsideالْعَرَبَةِthe cartبِشِدَّةٍwith strengthكَالطَّبْلِlike a drum.

But soon, I heard his hooves hitting inside the cart with strength like a drum.

سَمِعْتُI heardالْحَيَوَانَاتُthe animalsصَخَبًاa commotionعَنيفًاintense

I heard the animals in an intense commotion.

لَقَدْHe hadحَاوَلَtriedاخْتِرَاقَto break throughالْعَرَبَةِthe cartبِرَفْسَاتٍwith kicksقَوِيَّةٍpowerful

He had tried to break through the cart with powerful kicks.

كَانَwasيَسْتَطِيعُable toفِيinالْمَاضِيthe pastتَدْمِيرَdestroyالْعَرَبَةَthe cartبِضَرْبَاتٍwith a few hitsقَلِيلَةٍfewمِنْofحَوَافِرِهhis hoovesلَكِنَّbut،وَأسَفَاهoh dearلَقَدْhe hadفَقَدَlostقُوَّتَهُhis strength

In the past, he was able to destroy the cart with a few hits of his hooves but, alas, he had lost his strength.

وَمَاand whatهِيَis itإِلَّاbutلَحَظَاتٌmomentsقَلِيلَةٌfewحَتَّىuntilخَفَتَتْfadedطَرَطَقَاتُthe sound of hoovesحَوَافِرِهhis hooves،ثُمَّthenانْطَفَأَتْextinguished

And what it is but a few moments until the sound of his hooves faded, then extinguished.

فِيInغَمْرَةِthe depthsالْيَأْسِof despair،بَدَأَتْbeganالْحَيَوَانَاتُthe animalsتَتَوَسَّلُto pleadإِلَىtoالْحِصَانَيْنِthe two horses

In the depths of despair, the animals began to plead to the two horses.
