وَإِذَاAnd ifأَحَبَّlovesاللَّهُAllahوَقَامَand He worshipsبِعِبَادَتِهِHis worship؛;فَإِنَّthenاللَّهَAllahتَعَالَىthe Exaltedيُحِبُّهُloves him،,بَلْindeedإِنَّthatاللَّهَAllahعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Almighty and Majesticيُعْطِيهُgives himأَكْثَرَmoreمِمَّاthan whatعَمِلَhe did؛;يَقُولُHe saysتَعَالَىthe Most Highفِيinالْحَدِيثِthe HadithالْقُدْسِيِّQudsi::مَنْWhoeverذَكَرَنِيremembers Meفِيinنَفْسِهِhimself؛;ذَكَرْتُهُI remember himفِيinنَفْسِيMyself،,وَنَفْسِيAnd My SelfاللَّهُAllahأَعْظَمُis greaterمِنْthanنُفُوسِنَاour soulsوَمَنْAnd whoeverذَكَرَنِيremembers Meفِيinمَلَإٍa gathering؛;ذَكَرْتُهُI remember himفِيinمَلَإٍa gatheringخَيْرٍbetterمِنْهُمْthan them
And if Allah loves and worships Him, then Allah the Exalted loves him. Indeed, Allah the Almighty gives him more than what he has done; He says in the Qudsi Hadith: 'Whoever remembers Me in himself, I remember him in Myself, and My Self is greater than our souls. And whoever remembers Me in a gathering, I remember him in a gathering better than them.'
