فَنَحْنُSo weنَقُولُsay::نُثْبِتُwe establishالْمَحَبَّةَloveبِالأَدِلَّةِwith the proofsالْعَقْلِيَّةِ؛rational;كَمَاasهِيَit isثَابِتَةٌestablishedعِندَنَاwith us;بِالأَدِلَّةِwith the proofsالسَّمْعِيَّةِ؛auditory;احْتِجَاجًاin protestعَلىagainstمَنthose whoأَنْكَرَdeniedثُبُوتَهَاits established nature;بِالْعَقْلِ؛by reason;فَنَقُولُSo we sayوَبِاللَّهِand with God's helpالتَّوْفِيقِsuccess:إِثَابَةَRewardingالطَّائِعِينَthe obedientبِالْجَنَّاتِwith the gardensوَالنَّصْرِand the victoryوَالتَّأْيِيدِand the supportوَغَيْرِand otherذَٰلِكَ؛than that;هَذَاthisيَدُلُّindicatesبِلَاwithoutشَكٍّdoubtعَلىonالْمَحَبَّةِ،love,وَنَحْنُand weنُشَاهِدُobserveبِأَعْيُنِنَاwith our eyesوَنَسْمَعُand we hearبِآذَانِنَاwith our earsعَمَّنْabout those whoسَبَقَprecededوَعَمَّنْand about those whoلَحِقَfollowedأَنْthatاللَّهَGodعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Exalted and Majesticأَيَّدَsupportedمِنْthose whoأَيَّدَsupportedمِنْofعِبَادِهِHis servantsالْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersوَنَصَرَهُمْand gave them victoryوَأَثَابَهُمْ،and rewarded them,وَهَلْand is thereهَذَاthisإِلَّاexceptدَلِيلٌevidenceعَلَىonالْمَحَبَّةِloveلِمَنfor whomأَيَّدَهُمْHe supported themوَنَصَرَهُمْand gave them victoryوَأَثَابَهُمْand rewarded themعَزَّ وَجَلَّ؟!the Exalted and Majestic?!
So we say: we establish love with rational proofs; as it is established with us by auditory proofs; in protest against those who denied its establishment by reason; So we say and with God's help: Rewarding the obedient with gardens and victory and support and other than that; this undoubtedly indicates love, and we observe with our eyes and hear with our ears about those who preceded and about those who followed that God, the Exalted and Majestic, supported those whom He supported among His believing servants and granted them victory and rewarded them, and is this not evidence of love for whom He supported and granted victory and rewarded them, the Exalted and Majestic?!
وَهُنَاAnd hereسُؤَالَانِare two questions::الأوَّلُ:The first:بِمَاذَاBy whatيَنَالُdoes one gainالْإِنسَانُa humanمَحَبَّةَthe loveاللَّهِof Godعَزَّ وَجَلَّ؟the Exalted and Majestic?وَهَذِهِAnd this isهِيَit isالَّتِيwhichيَطْلُبُهَاevery person seeksكُلُّeveryإِنْسَانٍhumanوَالْمَحَبَّةُand loveعِبَارَةٌis an expressionعَنْofأَمْرٍa matterفِطْرِيٍّnaturalيَكُونُthat existsفِيinالْإِنسَانِthe humanوَلَاand notيَمْتَلِكُهَاhe possesses itوَلِهَذَاAnd thereforeيُرْوَىit is narratedأَنْthatالرَّسُولُthe Messengerعَلَيْهِupon himالصَّلَاةُthe prayerوَالسَّلَامُand peaceقَالَsaidفِيinالْعَدْلِthe justiceبَيْنَbetweenزَوْجَاتِهِ:his wives:«هَذَا"Thisقِسْمِيis my division;فِيَمَاin whatأَمْلُكُ؛I possess;فَلَاso do notتَلُمِّنِيblame meفِيمَاfor whatلَاnotأَمْلِكُ»I possess."
And here are two questions: The first: By what does one gain the love of God, the Exalted and Majestic? And this is that which every person seeks, and love is an expression of a natural matter that exists in the human and he does not possess it; and therefore, it is narrated that the Messenger, upon him be prayer and peace, said regarding the justice between his wives: "This is my division; in what I possess; so do not blame me for what I do not possess."
فَالْجَوَابُThe answer::أَنَّis thatالْمَحَبَّةَloveلَهَاhasأَسْبَابٌcausesكثِيرَةٌ:many:مِنْهَا:Among them:أَنَّthatيَنْظُرُone looksالْإِنْسَانُthe human::مَنْwhoالَّذِيis the one whoخَلَقَهُ؟created him?وَمَنْAnd whoالَّذِيis the one whoأَمَدَّهُsustained him
The answer: is that love has many causes: Among them: that one looks: who is the one who created him? And who is the one who sustained him?
