As Narrated by Al-Bukhari (3231), and Muslim (1795); Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her - the wife of the Prophet ﷺ - said to the Prophet ﷺ: Did you encounter a day that was more severe than the day of Uhud? She said: Indeed, I encountered from your people what I encountered, and it was more severe what I encountered from them on the day of Al-Aqaba, when I offered myself to Ibn Abd Yalil Ibn Abd Khalal, but he did not respond to me in what I wanted, so I departed, and I was worried over my face, and I did not find consciousness except while I was in the pass of the foxes.
فَرَفَعْتُSo I raisedرَأْسِيmy headفَإِذَاand whenأَنَاIبِسَحَابَةٍwith a cloudقَدْhadأَظَلَّتْنِيshaded meفَنَظَرْتُSo I lookedفَإِذَاand whenفِيهَاin itجِبْرِيلُGabriel،,فَنَادَىSo he calledفَقَالَand saidإِنَّIndeedاللَّهَAllahقَدْhasسَمِعَheardقَوْلَthe sayingقَوْمِكَyour peopleلَكَto youوَمَاand whatرَدُّواthey repliedعَلَيْكَto you،,وَقَدْand indeedبَعَثَsentاللَّهُAllahإِلَيْكَto youمَلَكَan angelالْجِبَالِof the mountainsلِتَأْمُرَهُto command himبِمَاwith whatشِئْتَyou wish
So I raised my head, and when I saw a cloud had shaded me, I looked, and in it was Gabriel, and he called and said: Indeed Allah has heard the saying of your people to you and what they replied to you, and indeed Allah has sent to you an angel of the mountains to command him with what you wish with them.

So he called the angel of the mountains, and he greeted me, then said: O Muhammad, that which you wish, indeed if you wish to crush over them the two mountains,
فَقَالَSo he saidالنَّبِيُّthe Prophet ﷺPeace be upon him::بَلْRatherأَرْجُوI hopeأَنْthatيُخْرِجَHe brings forthاللَّهُAllahمِنْfromأَصْلَابِهِمtheir descendantsمِنْofيَعْبُدُworshipsاللَّهَAllahوَحْدَهُaloneوَلَاand notيُشْرِكُassociatesبِهِwith Him
So the Prophet ﷺ said: Rather, I hope that Allah brings forth from their descendants one who worships Allah alone and does not associate anything with Him.
