وَفِيAnd inهَذِهِthisالْآيَةِverse::إِثْبَاتِaffirmationصِفَةِqualityالرُّؤْيَةِthe visionلِلَّهِfor Allahعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Exalted
And in this verse: the affirmation of the quality of vision for Allah, the Exalted.
وَالرُّؤْيَةُAnd the visionالْمُضَافَةُaddedإِلَىtoاللَّهِAllahلَهَاhasمَعْنَيَانِtwo meanings
And the vision attributed to Allah has two meanings.
المَعْنَىThe meaningالأوَّلُthe first::العِلْمُknowledge
The first meaning: knowledge.
وَالثَّانِيAnd the second::رُؤْيَةٌthe visionالْمُبْصِرَاتِof the visible things؛;يَعْنِيthat is::إِدْرَاكَهَاperceiving themبِالْبَصَرِby sight
And the second: the vision of the visible things; that is: perceiving them by sight.
فَمِنَSo fromالأوَّلِthe first::قَوْلِهِHis sayingتَعَالَىthe Exaltedعَنْaboutيَوْمِthe Dayالْقِيَامَةِof Resurrection::﴿“إِنَّهُمْIndeed theyيَرَوْنَهُsee Himبَعِيدًاfar awayوَandنَرَاهُwe see Himقَرِيبًاclose
So from the first: His saying, the Exalted, about the Day of Resurrection: "Indeed they see Him far away, and we see Him close."
فَالرُّؤْيَةُSo the visionهُنَاhereرُؤْيَةٌis a visionالعِلْمِof knowledge؛;لِأَنَّbecauseالْيَوْمَthe dayلَيْسَis notجَسَمًاa bodyيُرَىto be seen,,وَأَيْضًاand alsoهُوَitلَمْhas notيَكُنexistبَعْدَyet;;فَمَعْنَىSo the meaning﴿“وَنَرَاهُwe know Himقَرِيبًاclose؛;أَيwhich means::نَعْلَمُهُwe know Himقَرِيبًاclose
So the vision here is a vision of knowledge; because the day is not a body that is seen, and it has not existed yet; so the meaning of "and we know Him close"; that is: we know Him close.
وَأَمَّاAnd as forقَوْلُهُHis saying::﴿“أَلَمْDid notيَعْلَمْknowبِأَنَّthatاللَّهَAllahيَرَىsees
And as for His saying: "Did not Allah know that He sees?"
فَهِيَIt isصَالِحَةٌvalidلِأَنْto beتَكُونَbeبِمَعْنَىin the meaning ofالعِلْمِknowledgeوَبِمَعْنَىand in the meaning ofالرُّؤْيَةِthe visionالْبَصَرِيَّةِthe visual,,وَإِذَاAnd ifكَانَتit isصَالِحَةًvalidلَهُمَاfor both،,وَلَاand there is noمُنَافَاةٌcontradictionبَيْنَهُمَاbetween themوَجَبَit is necessaryأَنْtoتُحْمَلَbe carriedعَلَيْهِمَاon them bothجَمِيعًاtogether,,فَيُقَالُand it is saidإِنَّthatاللَّهَAllahيَرَىsees؛;أَيْthat isيَعْلَمُhe knowsمَاwhatيَفْعَلُهُhe doesهَذَاthisالرَّجُلُmanوَمَاand whatيَقُولُهُhe says,,وَيَرَاهُand he sees it also
It is valid to have the meanings of both knowledge and vision, and there is no contradiction between them; thus, it must be carried to both meanings, and it is said that Allah sees; that is: He knows what this man does and what he says, and He sees it also.
الْآيَةُThe verseالسَّادِسَةُthe sixth::قَوْلُهُHis saying::﴿“الَّذِيthe oneيَرَكَwho sees youحِينَwhenتَقُومُyou rise**وَandتَقَلُّبَكَyour movementsفِيinالسَّجِدَيْنِthe two prostrations
The sixth verse: His saying: "The one who sees you when you rise and your movements in the two prostrations."
إِنَّهُIndeed, HeهُوَHe isالسَّمِيعُthe All-Hearingالْعَلِيمُthe All-Knowing
Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
قَبْلَBeforeهَذِهِthisالْآيَةِverseقَوْلُهُHis saying::﴿“وَتَوَكَّلْAnd relyعَلَىuponالْعَزِيزِthe Mightyالرَّحِيمِthe Merciful
Before this verse: His saying: "And rely upon the Mighty, the Merciful."
وَالرُّؤْيَةُAnd the visionهُنَاhereرُؤْيَةٌis a visionالْبَصَرِof sight؛;لِأَنَّbecauseقَوْلُهُHis saying::﴿“الَّذِيthe oneيَرَكَwho sees youحِينَwhenتَقُومُyou rise
And the vision here is the vision of sight; because His saying: "The one who sees you when you rise"
