وَالْجَمَاعَةُ،and the community,وَلَاand notيُصَدَّقُis believedالْوَصْفُthe descriptionعَلَىonغَيْرِهِمْothersأَبَدًا،ever,وَالْكَلِمَاتُand the wordsتُعْتَبَرُare consideredبِمَعَانِيهَا .by their meanings.

And the community is never described except for them. The words are considered by their meanings.

لْنَنْظُرْLet us seeكَيْفَhowنُسَمِّيwe callمَنْthose whoخَالَفَتْcontradictedالسُّنَّةَ؟the Sunnah?لَاNo!يُمْكِنُ !It is possible!

Let us see how we call those who contradicted the Sunnah? No! It is not possible!

وَكَيْفَAnd howيُمْكِنُcanأَنْthatنَقُولَwe sayعَنْaboutثَلاثَةِthreeطَوَائِفَgroupsمُخْتَلِفَةٍ،different:إِنَّهُمْthey areمُجْتَمِعُونَ؟!united?!

And how can we say about three different groups: They are united?!

فَأَيْنَSo whereالِاجْتِمَاعُ؟is the meeting?

So where is the meeting?

فَأَهْلُSo the people ofالسُّنَّةِthe Sunnahوَالْجَمَاعَةِand the communityهُمْareالسَّلَفُthe predecessorsمُعْتَقِدًا،believing,حَتَّىuntilالْمُتَأَخِّرِthe later generationsإِلَىtoيَوْمِthe Dayالْقِيَامَةِ،of Resurrection;إِذَاifكَانَhe isعَلَىonطَرِيقَةِthe way ofالنَّبِيِّ ﷺthe Prophet (PBUH)وَأَصْحَابِهِ؛and His companions;فَإِنَّهُthen he isسَلَفِيٌّ.a Salafi.

So the people of the Sunnah and the community are the predecessors, believing, even the later generations until the Day of Resurrection, if they are on the way of the Prophet (PBUH) and His companions; then he is a Salafi.

قَوْلُهُ:His saying:«وَهُوَ‘And it isالْإِيمَانُthe belief inبِاللَّهِ،in Allah,وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ،and His angels,وَكُتُبِهِ،and His books,وَرُسُلِهِ،and His messengers,وَالْبَعْثِand the resurrectionبَعْدَafterالمَوْتِ،death,وَالْإِيمَانُand the belief inبِالْقَدَرِin predestinationخَيْرِهِits goodوَشَرِّهِ».and its evil.’

His saying: 'And it is the belief in Allah, and His angels, and His books, and His messengers, and the resurrection after death, and the belief in predestination, its good and its evil.'

الشَّرْحُ:Explanation:هَذِهِThisالْعَقِيدَةُcreedأَصْلُهَاits originلَنَاfor usالنَّبِيُّthe Prophetعَلَىinجَوَابٍthe answerجِبْرِيلَGabrielحِينََwhenسَأَلَaskالنَّبِيَّ ﷺ:the Prophet (PBUH):مَاWhatالإِسْلَامُ؟is Islam?مَاWhatالإِيمَانُ؟is belief?مَاWhatالإِحْسَانُ؟is perfection?مَتَىWhenالسَّاعَةُ؟the hour?

Explanation: This creed has its origin in the answer of the Prophet (PBUH) when Gabriel asked him: What is Islam? What is belief? What is perfection? When is the hour?

فَالْإِيمَانُSo the belief- قَالَ- he saidلَهُ :to him:( أَنْ(thatتُؤْمِنَyou believeبِاللَّهِin Allahوَمَلَائِكَتِهِand His angels,وَكُتُبِهِand His books,وَرُسُلِهِ،and His messengers,وَالْيَوْمِand the Last Day,الْآخِرِ،the other,وَالْقَدَرِand the predestinationخَيْرِهِits goodوَشَرِّهِand its evil(۱).(1).

So the belief - he said to him: (that you believe in Allah and His angels, and His books, and His messengers, and the Last Day, and the predestination, its good and its evil (1).

الإِيمَانُThe beliefبِاللَّهِin Allah,الإِيمَانُthe beliefفِيinاللُّغَةِ;the language;يَقُولُsaysكَثِيرٌmanyمِنَofالنَّاسِ:people:إِنَّهُIt isالتَّصْدِيقُ؛the confirmation;

The belief in Allah, the belief in the language; many people say: It is the confirmation;

فَصَدَّقْتُSo I confirmedوَآمَنتُand I believedمَعْنَاهُمَاtheir meanings areلُغَةً،in language,وَاحِدًا،one;وَقَدْAnd it hasسَبَقَprecededلَنَاto usفِيinالتَّفْسِيرِthe interpretationأَنْthatهَذَاthisالْقَوْلُstatementلَاis notيَصِحُّ،correct,بَلْbutالإِيمَانُthe beliefفِيinاللُّغَةِ:the language:الْإِقْرَارُthe acknowledgmentبِالشَّيْءِof the thingعَنْbyالتَّصْدِيقِthe confirmation

So I confirmed and I believed, their meanings are one in language, and it has preceded to us in the interpretation that this statement is not correct, but the belief in the language: the acknowledgment of the thing by the confirmation.

بِدَلِيلٍWith evidenceأَنَّكَthat youتَقُولُ:say:آمَنْتُI believedبِكَذَا،in such,وَأَقَرَرْتُand I acknowledgedبِكَذَا،in such,وَصَدَّقْتُand confirmedفُلَانًا.so-and-so.

With evidence that you say: I believed in such, and I acknowledged in such, and confirmed so-and-so.

وَلَاAnd do notتَقُولُ:say:آمَنْتُI believedفُلَانًا.so-and-so.

And do not say: I believed so-and-so.

إِذًا؛So, then;فَالْإِيمَانُso beliefيَتَضَمَّنُincludesمَعْنًىthe meaningزَائِدًاadditionalعَلَىtoمُجَرَّدِmereالتَّصْدِيقِ،the confirmation,وَهُوَand it is(۱)(1)

So, then; belief includes an additional meaning to mere confirmation, and it is (1).
