Exalted is He with the right to be worshipped alone; because He is the one who is unique with these actions and attributes.

So, the deity is the worshipped, the obeyed, who the hearts worship, meaning: turn to Him, intend Him, submit to Him, cling to Him with awe, repentance, love, fear, reliance upon Him, and sincerity, Blessed and Exalted is He.
قَالَSaidابْنُIbnعَبَّاسٍAbbas- رَضِيَ- may AllahاللَّهُAllahعَنْهُمَاbe pleased with them both -"::اللَّهُ"Allahذُوis the possessorالْأُلُوهِيَّةِof divinityوَالْعُبُودِيَّةِand servitudeعَلَىoverخَلْقِهِHis creationأَجْمَعِينَ"all."(١).(1).
Ibn Abbas - may Allah be pleased with them both - said: "Allah is the possessor of divinity and servitude over His creation all." (1).

Sheikh Sulayman bin Abd Allah - may Allah have mercy on him - said: "And it has entered into divinity all types of worship that emanate from the worship of the heart to Allah with love, submission, and obedience to Him alone, no partner He has, so it is obligatory to single out Allah the Exalted with it, like supplication, fear, love, reliance, repentance, turning back, slaughtering, vows, prostration, and all types of worship, so it is obligatory to direct all that to Allah alone, no partner He has, so whoever directs something of that which is not suitable except for Allah from the worships to other than Allah, then he is a polytheist, even if he speaks with "There is no deity except Allah," as he acts by what it necessitates of monotheism and sincerity." (2).
فَـSo,"لَا"There is noإِلَهَdeityإِلَّاexceptاللَّهُ"Allah,"مَعْنَاهَا:its meaning is:لَاnoمَعْبُودَworshippedحَقٌّrightfullyإِلَّاexceptاللَّهُ،Allah,وَغَيْرُand other thanاللَّهِAllahإِنْifعُبِدَis worshippedفَبَاطِلٌthen it is false(٣).(3).
So, "There is no deity except Allah," its meaning is: no deity rightfully except Allah, and other than Allah if is worshipped, then it is false (3).
