أَحْسَنُThe bestمَاthatفِيهَاis in itمَعْرِفَةُis the knowledgeاللَّهِof Allahوَتَوْحِيدُهُand His Oneness.
The best that is in it is the knowledge of Allah and His Oneness.
كَرِّرْRepeatحَدِيثَكَyour talkلِيto meعَنْaboutبَانَةِthe departureالْعِلْمِof knowledge......فَهُوَfor it isالشِّفَاءُthe healingلِمَاfor whatأَلْقَاهُI sufferمِنْfromأَلَمِpain.
Repeat your talk to me about the departure of knowledge... for it is the healing for what I suffer from pain.
إِنْIfكَانَit isعَنْfromنَاظِرِيmy sightقَدْindeedغَابَhas disappearedحُسْنُكُمْyour beauty......فَذِكْرُكُمْthen your remembranceأَبَدًاalwaysفِيinخَاطِرِيmy mindوَفَمِيand my mouth.
If your beauty has indeed disappeared from my sight... then your remembrance is always in my mind and my mouth.

And this is the book "Mu'jam at-Tawhid" (1). I have compiled in it what pertains to the Oneness of worship and the issues of faith, and what contradicts it from nullifiers of Islam, and the categories of disbelief, and polytheism, and hypocrisy, and what pertains to it from fundamentals, and issues, and terminology, and definitions, along with clarifying the obscure of the terms, and presenting benefits and classifications, from what might be difficult for the researcher to find quickly. And the issues of this book have broadened and branched out, and I have tried hard to make them accessible and unify them, and I have exerted what is within my capacity for the sake of that. And the focus of attention has been on the fundamentals of the issues. And I have made the book of Tawhid by Sheikh the Imam Muhammad son of Abd al-Wahhab, may Allah have mercy on him, as a nucleus for the work, so everything that deserved a discussion in its issues, I have dedicated to it a chapter independently, and I have added other chapters that have a connection to Tawhid, and my methodology in arranging this book is as follows:
1 - Linguistic definition: And this is sourced from the known dictionaries, such as the book Tahdhib al-Lughah by al-Azhari, and an-Nihayah by Ibn al-Athir, and Mukhtar as-Sihah, and Lisan al-Arab, and al-Mu'jam al-Wasit, and similar ones, and some chapters or titles will have their meaning clarified from it without a linguistic definition, like the chapter (Taking graves as mosques), so something like this I do not mention for it a linguistic definition due to its clarity.
2 - Religious or terminological definition: And its source in most cases was the definitions that are relied upon by the verified scholars, like Ibn Taymiyyah, and Ibn al-Qayyim, and Ibn Rajab, and Ibn Kathir,

(1) Note: The title of the book expresses a part of it for brevity, otherwise the title would be long as the book included knowledge of what follows Tawhid from faith and its foundations, and its nullifiers, and what is attached to it from the creed of the people of Sunnah and the Jama'ah and what opposes that like innovation... etc. And the reason for my inclusion of some of these issues is their importance, and because not having faith in them is disbelief in Allah the Mighty and Majestic.
