So if it was with al-Bukhari or Muslim, then I am content with referencing them or one of them. So if it was with others than them, I pointed to that. As for the hadiths that a scholar mentions when narrating from him, then I did not commit to verifying or authenticating them; rather, I present them as he mentioned them without any change.

5 - The saying of the Salaf (1), acting upon the saying of Allah, the Exalted: {So if you dispute in a thing, then refer it to Allah and the Messenger} [An-Nisa: 59 - 60], Sheikh Al-Mu'allimi, may Allah have mercy on him, says: "And there is no doubt that referring to Allah and His Messenger after his death is only achieved by referring to the Book and the Sunnah. And his arbitration after his death is only by arbitrating the Book and the Sunnah. And there is no doubt that among referring to the Book is asking the scholars, just as referring to the Messenger is considering his successors and his inheritors from the people of knowledge. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: {So ask the people of remembrance if you do not know} [Al-Anbiya: 7]. And in the hadith of Abu Ad-Darda', as a marfu' narration: "The scholars are the successors of the Prophets" (2). And in the Sunan, there is a hadith that says: "And that the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets..." (3). And there is no doubt that the striving Imams are among the first to be included in that" (4).

Knowing that if I quote the words of one of the Imams, then I place his words between parentheses. So if a hadith or a narration or the words of another scholar is mentioned in his words, I make a quotation mark to clarify that.
