التَّعْرِيفُThe definitionفِيمَاof whatهُوَisمُعَرَّفٌdefined(بِأَلْ)(with 'Al')
The definition of what is defined (with 'Al').
وَمِثَالُAnd an exampleذَلِكَ:of that:بَابُChapter(الِاسْتِعَاذَةِ)(Seeking refuge)فَإِنَّكَthen youتَبْحَثُsearchعَنْهُfor itفِيinبَابِthe chapterالْهَمْزَةِof the Hamzaثُمَّthenالسِّينِthe Seenوَهَكَذَا،and so on,
And an example of that is the chapter (Seeking Refuge); you search for it in the chapter of the Hamza, then the Seen, and so on.
وَتَبْحَثُand you searchعَنْforبَابِthe chapter(التَّوْحِيدِ)(Monotheism)فِيinالْأَبْوَابِthe chaptersالَّتِيthatتَبْدَأُbeginبِحَرْفِwith the letterالتَّاءِTaa',ثُمَّthenالْوَاوِ.the Waw.
And you search for the chapter (Monotheism) in the chapters that begin with the letter Taa', then the Waw.
وَبَعْضُAnd someالْأَبْوَابِchaptersلَاdo notأَسْتَطِيعُI canإِيرَادَهَاpresent themإِلَّاexceptبِعِبَارَتِهَاwith their phrasingأَوْorمَظْهَرِهَاtheir apparentالشِّرْكِيِّ,shirk (polytheistic) form,كَبَابِlike the chapter(مَا(WhatشَاءَAllahاللَّهُwillsوَشِئْتَ)and you willed),(التَّنْجِيمُ)،(Astrology),(الْإِقَامَةُ(Residingفِيinبِلَادِthe landsالْكُفَّارِ)of the disbelievers),وَغَيْرِهَا,and others.
And some chapters I can only present with their phrasing or their apparent shirk (polytheistic) form, like the chapter (What Allah wills and you willed), (Astrology), (Residing in the lands of the disbelievers), and others.
وَلْيَعْذُرْنَاAnd let forgive usالْقَارِئُthe readerفِيinالتَّبْوِيبِ;the categorization;لِأَنَّbecauseالْمُرَادَthe intentionالتَّقْرِيبُis to bring closerوَسُهُولَةُand ease ofالْوُصُولِaccessإِلَىtoالْمُفْرَدَاتِthe termsالْمُتَعَلِّقَةِrelatedبِالتَّوْحِيدِ,to Monotheism,
And let the reader forgive us in the categorization; because the intention is to bring closer and ease of access to the terms related to Monotheism,
فَأَرْجُوso I hopeأَنْthatأَكُونَI have beenقَدْindeedسَلَكْتُfollowedالْمَسْلَكَthe pathالْمُنَاسِبَappropriateفِيinذَلِكَ;that;تَسْهِيلًاto facilitateلِوُصُولِthe arrivalالْمَعْلُومَةِof the informationإِلَىtoالْقَارِئِ,the reader,
so I hope that I have followed the appropriate path in that; to facilitate the arrival of the information to the reader,
وَهَذَاand thisمَحَلُّis a matterاجْتِهَادٍof personal effortمِنِّي,from me,إِنْifوُفِّقْتُI was guidedفِيهِin itفَذَلِكَthen thatفَضْلٌis a favorمِنَfromاللَّهِ,Allah,وَإِنْand ifأَخْطَأْتُI erredفَمِنْthen fromنَفْسِيmyselfوَالشَّيْطَانِ.and Satan.
and this is a matter of personal effort from me; if I was guided in it, then that is a favor from Allah, and if I erred, then from myself and Satan.
وَقَدْAnd hasدَفَعَنِيmotivated meإِلَىtoتَرْتِيبِarrangingهَذَاthisالْكِتَابِbookعَلَىaccording toحُرُوفِthe lettersالْمُعْجَمِthe lexiconحَاجَةُthe needبَعْضِof someطَلَبَةِstudentsالْعِلْمِof knowledgeوَالدُّعَاةِand callers (to Islam)وَالْخُطَبَاءِand oratorsوَالْبَاحِثِينَand researchersإِلَىtoالْوُصُولِaccessبِطُرُقٍby means of pathsيَسِيرَةٍeasyلِأَقْوَالِto the sayingsالْعُلَمَاءِof the scholarsوَالْأَئِمَّةِand the Imamsفِيinمَسَائِلِthe issuesالتَّوْحِيدِ,of Monotheism,
And the need of some students of knowledge, callers (to Islam), orators, and researchers to access the sayings of scholars and Imams on the issues of Monotheism through easy paths has motivated me to arrange this book according to the letters of the lexicon.
مَعَalong withاخْتِصَارِshorteningالْوَقْتِthe timeوَالْجَهْدِand the effortفِيinالْبَحْثِsearchingعَنْهَاfor themفِيinأُمَّهَاتِthe motherالْكُتُبِ,books,وَذَلِكَand thatيَخْدِمُservesالْبَاحِثَthe researcherفِيinالْعَزْوِattributingلِأَهْلِto the peopleالْعِلْمِof knowledgeوَكُتُبِهِمْ.and their books.
along with shortening the time and effort in searching for them in the mother books, and that serves the researcher in attributing to the people of knowledge and their books.
وَحَاوَلْتُAnd I triedالْتِزَامَto adhere toذِكْرَmentioningالْمَرَاجِعِthe referencesكَيْso thatيَتَسَنَّىit may be possibleلِمَنْfor whoeverأَرَادَwantsالتَّفْصِيلَthe detailالْعُثُورَto findعَلَىonمَرَاجِعِreferencesالْمَسَائِلِ.of the issues.
And I tried to adhere to mentioning the references so that whoever wants the detail may be able to find references for the issues.
فَتَجِدُSo you findتَحْتَunderكُلِّeachبَابٍchapterمَرَاجِعَreferencesرُمِزَsymbolizedلَهَاfor themبِعَلَامَةِwith a signنَجْمَةٍof a star(*)(*)أَذْكُرُI mentionبَعْدَهَاafter itكُتُبَthe booksالسَّلَفِof the Salafمِنَfromالْأُصُولِthe primary sourcesالْمُتَقَدِّمَةِthe early onesوَالْكُتُبِand the booksالْمُتَأَخِّرَةِ,the later ones,
So you find under each chapter references symbolized for them with a star sign (*); I mention after it the books of the Salaf, from the early primary sources and the later books.
وَالْتَزَمْتُand I committedبِذِكْرِto mentioningمَكَانِthe locationالْمَسْأَلَةِof the issueفِيinالشُّرُوحِthe commentariesالْمَشْهُورَةِthe famousعَلَىonكِتَابِthe bookالتَّوْحِيدِMonotheismلِلشَّيْخِof SheikhمُحَمَّدِMuhammadبْنِbinعَبْدِAbdالْوَهَّابِAl-Wahhabوَمِنْand fromذَلِكَ:that:تَيْسِيرُTaysirالْعَزِيزِAl-Azizالْحَمِيدِ,Al-Hameed,فَتْحُFathالْمَجِيدِ,Al-Majeed,حَاشِيَةُHashiyatابْنِIbnقَاسِمٍ,Qasim,الْقَوْلُAl-Qawlالْمُفِيدُ,Al-Mufid,ثُمَّthenفَتَاوَىFatawaاللَّجْنَةِ,Al-Lajnah,وَفَتَاوَىand Fatawaالشَّيْخِof SheikhابْنِIbnبَازٍ,Baz,فَتَاوَىFatawaالشَّيْخِof SheikhابْنِIbnعُثَيْمِينٍUthaymeen--رَحِمَهُمُmay Allah have mercy onاللَّهُAllahجَمِيعًاall of them-..
and I committed to mentioning the location of the issue in the famous commentaries on the book Monotheism of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd Al-Wahhab. And from that: Taysir Al-Aziz Al-Hameed, Fath Al-Majeed, Hashiyat Ibn Qasim, Al-Qawl Al-Mufid, then Fatawa Al-Lajnah, and Fatawa of Sheikh Ibn Baz, Fatawa of Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen - may Allah have mercy on all of them -.
وَأَغْلَبُAnd mostالْمَسَائِلِof the issuesالْمَذْكُورَةِmentionedوَالتَّقْسِيمَاتِand the divisionsالْمَوْجُودَةِexistingاعْتَمَدْتُI reliedفِيهَاin themعَلَىonالْكُتُبِthe booksوَالْمَرَاجِعِand referencesالْمَكْتُوبَةِwrittenفِيinحَاشِيَةِthe marginكُلِّof eachبَابٍ,chapter,
And most of the issues mentioned and the existing divisions, I relied in them on the books and references written in the margin of each chapter.
وَرُبَّمَاand perhapsنَقَلْتُI quotedمِنْfromهَذِهِtheseالْمَرَاجِعِreferencesبِالنَّصِّverbatimأَوْorاسْتَفَدْتُI benefitedمِنَfromالنَّقْلِthe quotingالْمَوْجُودِexistingفِيهَاin themمَعَalong withالْاِكْتِفَاءِbeing satisfiedبِالْمَرْجِعِwith the referenceالْأَصْلِ,the original,كَمَاjust asاسْتَفَدْتُI benefitedمِنَfromالْحَوَاشِيthe marginaliaأَوْorالشُّرُوحِ.the commentaries.
and perhaps I quoted from these references verbatim, or I benefited from the quoting existing in them while being satisfied with the original reference, just as I benefited from the marginalia or the commentaries.
