The Musnad (224/3) was narrated by Ibn Abdul Bar in the Tamhid (9/5), from the path of Ismail bin Ayash about Amarah bin Ghuzayyah, that he heard Hamid bin Ubaid, the client of Bani al-Ma'ali, about Thabit from Anas, and so he mentioned it.

And this chain of narration is not authentic because if Ismail bin Ayash narrated from others not of his hometown, his memory becomes inconsistent.

The hadith has been narrated by Ibn Wahb from Ibn Lahi’ah and Yahya bin Ayyub, both from Amarah bin Ghuzayyah about Hamid, who said: ‘I heard Anas bin Malik, so he mentioned it similarly.’

Likewise, it was narrated by Ibn Abi Dunya in the book of sadness and weeping (408), and I do not know whether it was omitted from the printed version (Thabit) or if it was as it occurred to him. And this Hamid is perhaps the son of Ubaid, the earlier one, so he is unknown.
