كُنتَYou wereتُوعَدُpromisedفَيَقُولُthen he says::وَمَنْAnd whoأَنتَare you?(۱)

You were promised, and then he says: "And who are you?"

فَوَجْهُكَYour faceالْوَجْهُthe faceيَجِيءُcomes::فَيَقُولُThen he says::أَنَاI amعَمَلُكَyour workالْخَبِيثُevil.فَيَقُولُThen he says::)[١/١٣]رَبِّO Lord,لَاdo notتُقِمَestablish«السَّاعَةَ»the Hour.بِالشَّرِّ،with evil,وَفِيAnd inلَفْظٍa narrationلِأَحْمَدَfrom Ahmadأَيْضًاalso,,(۳)«ثُمَّThenيُقَيَّضُhe is assignedلَهُto himأَعْمَىa blindأَصَمَّdeafأَبْكَمَ،and mute,فِيinيَدِهِhis handمِرْزَبَةٍ،a mallet,لَوْifضَرَبَhe strikesبِهَاwith itجَبَلًاa mountainكَانَit would beتُرَابًاdustفَضَرَبَهُand he strikes himضَرْبَةً،a blow,فَيَصِيرُit becomesتُرَابًا(٥)dust.

Then he is assigned a blind, deaf, and mute man, in his hand a mallet; if he were to strike a mountain, it would become dust. He strikes him a blow, and he becomes dust.

The mallet is a large hammer used by the blacksmith, and it is also called 'the Irzba'.

(٤)(4)الْمِرْزَبَةُThe malletالْمَطْرَقَةُis the hammerالْكَبِيرَةُlargeالَّتِيthatتَكُونُisلِلْحَدَّادِ،for the blacksmith,وَيُقَالُand is saidلَهَاto itأَيْضًا:also:«الإِرْزَبَةُ»."the Irzba."اللِّسَانُThe tongue(رزب).(Rzb).

(4) The mallet is the large hammer used by the blacksmith, and it is also referred to as 'the Irzba'. The tongue (Rzb).
