He said: "Beware of the trivial sins, for they gather upon a man until they destroy him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave them an example like a people who descended to a desolate land, then the works of the people came, and the man would go and bring a stick, and the man would come with a stick, until they gathered a mass, ignited a fire, and roasted what they threw in it."

And in the authentic narration of Abu Huraira, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "A bridge will be placed on Hell, and I will be the first to pass. And the prayer of the messengers that day is: O Allah, save us! And on its sides are hooks like the thorns of a plant which snatch people by their deeds. Among them is the doomed one by his actions, and among them is the saved one then he escapes, until when Allah has finished the judgement between the servants and wishes to bring out from the people whom He wishes to have mercy on, from those who believe that there is no God but Allah, He commanded the angels to bring them out, so they recognize them by the marks of prostration. And Allah has prohibited the Fire from consuming the trace of prostration of the son of Adam, so they are brought out burned and poured on them from water.
