يُقَالُIt is saidلَهُto himمَاءُwaterالحَيَاةِof life,,فَيُنْبَتُونَthen they growنَبَاتَthe plants ofالحِبَّةِthe seedفِيinحَمِيلٍthe foliageالسَّيْلِof the flood>>
It is said to him, 'Water of life,' then they grow the plants of the seed in the foliage of the flood.
وَفِيAnd inصَحِيحٍthe authenticمُسْلِمٍMuslimعَنْهُof himقَالَhe said::سَمِعْتُI heardرَسُولَthe Messengerاللَّهِof Allahﷺ(Peace be upon him)يَقُولُsaying::إِنَّIndeedأَوَّلَthe firstالنَّاسِpeopleيُقْضَىwill be judgedفِيهِin itيَوْمَthe dayالْقِيَامَةِof resurrection::ثَلاَثَةٌthreeرُجُلٍmenاسْتُشْهِدُواwere martyredفَأُتِيَthen broughtبِهِhim,,فَعَرَفَهُand he recognized himنِعْمَتَهُhis blessingsفَعَرَفَهَاand he recognized them,,فَقَالَso he said::مَاذَاWhatعَمِلْتَdid you doفِيهَاwith it؟?قَالَHe said::قَاتَلْتُI foughtفِيكَfor YouحَتَّىuntilقُتِلْتُI was killed.
And in the authentic Muslim narration: he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) saying: Indeed, the first people who will be judged on the Day of Resurrection are three men who were martyred. They were brought to Him, and He recognized His blessings upon them, so He said: What did you do with them?
قَالَHe said::كَذَبْتَYou lied,,وَلَكِنَّbutقَاتَلْتَyou foughtلِيُقَالَfor people to say::هُوَhe isجَرِيءٌbrave,,فَقَدْand it was saidقِيلَsaid.ثُمَّThenأَمَرَHe orderedبِهِhim,,فَسُحِبَso he was draggedعَلَىonوَجْهِهِhis face::حَتَّىuntilأُلْقِيَhe was thrownفِيintoالنَّارِthe fire.
He said: You lied, but you fought for people to say: he is brave, and it was said. Then He ordered him, so he was dragged on his face until he was thrown into the fire.
وَرَجُلٌAnd a manتَعَلَّمَwho learnedالْعِلْمَknowledgeوَعَلَّمَهُand taught it,,وَقَرَأَand readالْقُرْآنَthe Quran؛;فَأُتِيَthen broughtبِهِhim,,فَعَرَفَهُand he recognized himنِعْمَتَهُhis blessingsفَعَرَفَهَاand he recognized them,,فَقَالَso he said::مَاذَاWhatعَمِلْتَdid you doفِيهَاwith it؟?قَالَHe said::تَعَلَّمْتُI learnedفِيكَin Youالْعِلْمَknowledgeوَعَلَّمْتُهُand taught it,,وَقَرَأْتُand I readفِيكَin Youالْقُرْآنَthe Quran.
And a man who learned knowledge and taught it, and read the Quran; then he was brought to Him, and he recognized His blessings upon him, so he said: What did you do with it?
فَقَالَHe said::كَذَبْتَYou lied,,وَلَكِنَّكَbut youتَعَلَّمْتَlearnedلِيُقَالَfor people to say::هُوَhe isعَالِمٌa scholar؛;وَقَرَأْتَand you readالْقُرْآنَthe Quranلِيُقَالَfor people to say::هُوَhe isقَارِئٌa reciter,,فَقَدْand it was saidقِيلَsaid,,ثُمَّthenأَمَرَHe orderedبِهِhim,,فَسُحِبَso he was draggedعَلَىonوَجْهِهِhis face::حَتَّىuntilأُلْقِيَhe was thrownفِيintoالنَّارِthe fire.
He said: You lied, but you learned for people to say: he is a scholar; and you read the Quran for people to say: he is a reciter, and it was said. Then He ordered him, so he was dragged on his face until he was thrown into the fire.
وَرَجُلٌAnd a manأَللَّهُAllahعَلَيْهِupon Himرَزَقَهُprovided him,,وَأَعْطَاهُand granted himمِنْfromأَصْنَافِvarietiesالْمَالِof wealthكُلِّهِall,,فَأُتِيَthen broughtبِهِhim,,فَعَرَفَهُand he recognized himنِعْمَتَهُhis blessingsفَعَرَفَهَاand he recognized them,,فَقَالَso he said::مَاذَاWhatعَمِلْتَdid you doفِيهَاwith it؟?فَقَالَHe said::مَاI did not leaveتَرَكْتُI leftمِنْofوَسْعٍsufficient.
And a man whom Allah provided and granted him from all varieties of wealth, was brought to Him, and he recognized His blessings upon him, so he said: What did you do with it? He said: I did not leave of sufficient means.
